D. T.When my 96 year-old mother who was living with support in her own home suddenly ‘went off her legs’, my sister and I had an immediate, very pressing problem (both of us live far away). We asked her long-term care providers who they would recommend and they unhesitatingly recommended Belvoir Vale. My sister (retired Consultant Geriatrician) and I visited and were immediately impressed and our mother was safely installed that very afternoon.
During the ten months that our mother spent there she was looked after in an unfailingly exemplary way. Jo and her team were wonderful (my mother, not normally good at new relationships, came to love them all) her room, the atmosphere, food and general care were all absolutely first class.
Belvoir Vale also seemed very good value compared with local care homes here in Scotland.

Mum has just come out but has been really well looked after and is happy and calm.
