A. J.60 years ago, on July 4th '64 there was a loud American party going on Hooley St... I was born to 'The House of the Rising Sun'.
This has always been an important place, and at 265' the highest point in Sherwood, would have provided look-out for Robin & his band.
C. A.I have recently joined Abbeyfield in an administrative role and I really love the atmosphere in the home. Residents pop into the office through the day and chat with me and the staff are all so friendly and welcoming. It's been a real pleasure.

R. B.My uncle that recently passed away was lucky enough to have lived at 3 Abbeyfield homes. In Nottingham he lived at both Sycamore House and also the Firs Nursing home when he was very poorly. At Sycamore he enbjoyed a lively environment and at the Firs he received kind and compassionate end of life care - I really could not have asked for more to honour him. Thank you to all the staff and management
