J. N.I attended a meet the manager day looking for somewhere for my uncle.
I met the staff who seemed really nice the resident to staff relations seemed great and the atmosphere was very welcoming. I had a look around with the home manager who showed me rooms available and explained everything the home has to offer from facilities, care packs and if we choose to bring him to this place, when he could be admitted. Manager seemed to genuinely care about the residents and if she could meet my uncles needs, I didn't feel like she was just giving a sales pitch to get us in. Highly recommended and thank you for the tour will be in touch 🙏🏽
J. B.My parents have been resident at Braeburn for the past six months. It's not been the easiest of times for me, but the care, the kindness and the professionalism of EVERY single member of staff, has meant the world to me. We love the rooms, it's such an important thing to have your own garden access. I love that, even when my parents don't remember to tell me what's been going on, I can see my mum playing scrabble or doing a bit of gardening via the Facebook page!
If I could give six stars I would.

The care home is very well run, with management who are very supportive and all staff go above and beyond to make sure that residents get the attention, care and home comforts they need. I’m most certainly going to think about going back there in the near future.

H.As an Ambulance driver we visit quite a lot of carehomes visiting braeburn lodge today we found it to be very friendly. welcoming our patient back home, we was met by a member of staff that was very helpfull then the helpfull staff to get our patient into her bed we gave a handover & told we could get a hot drink downstairs if we wanted which we accepted there is patient centered care at this home & would recommend to other users. keep up the good work
R. G.I have been to Braeburn several times with my stepdaughter during events they have hosted, including trick or treating and fireworks night. It was lovely to see the smile on the resident's faces when meeting all the children. My step daughter really enjoyed speaking to the resident's and participating in the activities available. They even did a colouring competition this year for Halloween, which is great to see they are still engaging with the local community during these challenging times. We look forward to seeing you all in the future.

P.I have been the homes Santa for the past few years, the home has always welcomed me as part of the Braeburn Lodge team and I have loved offering this service as a way of giving something back to the community. Due to covid things will be very different for lots of people this year but I’m so happy that Braeburn Lodge have come up with an alternative idea that will still bring the home and community together this Christmas. The Home has always been so warm, friendly and full of life and happiness. I am so glad we have this gem of a care home right in the heart of Deeping St James. Anybody that is looking for care for their loved one really needs to take a visit to Braeburn Lodge to see what an amazing home and team of staff they have to offer.
L. S.Attended Braeburn lodge tonight with my children for the fireworks show after being told about it on Halloween trick or treat night on 31st October.
Walking in to the care home I was met with a warm welcome by staff. As we entered there were activities for the children such as colouring whilst waiting for other guests to arrive.
Once we were all settled in, the general manager informed us of the events for the evening such as; roasting marshmallows, glow sticks, fireworks and food.
My children absolutely loved it. The sense of community spirit was lovely, and for the fact that residents were encourage to join in was just heart warming. All we were asked to do was to make a charitable contribution.
On our way out we were informed about the Santa’s grotto that will be hosted in December, my children cannot wait!!
I can’t recommend the home, the staff and the sense of community highly enough.
L. M.I have been working as an activities volunteer at Braeburn Lodge providing reminiscence sessions for over a year. I have been made welcome by all the staff and residents. I feel valued, respected and throughly enjoy my time at Braeburn Lodge. They are a great team!
