Such a great place to work at. I recently started working for Bluebird Reading and I'm truly amazed by the level of support offered to the staff by the management team. The recruitment process was really easy and quick thanks to Vicky. All the managers are amazing and just a phone call away whenever you need help and assistance, specially Kerry who's the most polite person I've ever talked to. The clients are lovely and with time, you start connecting with them in a way that your job doesn't seem like work anymore. I was also offered regular supervisions and Sophie was kind enough to answer all my queries. In short, it's more like a family than a workplace. Glad to be part of team Bluebird.

Brilliant workplace! Management are very supportive and friendly. Continuous opportunities for growth and training/ specialising in particular interests. Every client is different making each day busy and enjoyable. One of the best perks of the job is forming relationships with customers and their lovely families- feels ever so rewarding and special to be an important part of so many people’s lives! As a uni student, I sometimes struggle with the long shifts plus the driving, however, Bluebird have been extremely flexible and supportive working around my availability. Great pay with even better bonuses throughout the year! Highly recommend if you’re looking for a career in care.

Absolutely astonishing company! The care standards here are extremely high ensuring all clients receive the care and support needed in a friendly and efficient way! This company is by far the best I've worked with, training is superb and knowledgeable, the office staff are all very helpful and friendly. Highly recommend. My old dad was exceptionally well looked after by this wonderful team of people. They would even take time out in their busy schedule to write me little messages about him on a daily basis. Excellent communication from care provider, kind and compassionate throughout. I have been working for bluebird care for a couple of months now and have to say it’s an amazing company. Care is always to a high standard and I have felt very supported and welcomed by the team.

When we needed to arrange in-home care at short notice, Bluebird were able to start the following week. Since then, we have had daily visits from the local team, according to a schedule sent to us each week. Visiting times are known to us in advance and we know which carer to expect. Punctuality is very good and we always feel in contact should changes be necessary. Whilst we don’t see the same carer every day (this would be impossible, of course), the carers are all part of the same small team. On their first visits, each carer seemed well briefed on our details and needs. Since then, they have quickly got to know us and to find their way around the house. Every carer we have met is unique and all are friendly, professional and genuine – each of them seems to enjoy what they do. There is always time for a bit of a chat. Above all, they are flexible, kind and understanding. Every visit is fondly anticipated, and things always feel that little bit better afterwards.

The service from Bluebird is exemplary and nothing is too much trouble for them. They are professional and totally reliable. Mum has advancing dementia and the carers who visit each day are so kind and compassionate which gives us real peace of mind. The team in the office make sure we are always kept informed and we can track mums daily visits via the app. I have no hesitation in highly recommending them. I have returned to Bluebird Care after 4 years of working in a care home. I have very fond memories of my years as a carer for Bluebird Care. I’ve now returned to be part of the office support team which has proven to be the best decision I could have made. The team are so supportive and have made my return very easy. My mother has had blue bird carers for the past 5years plus. They continue to help me care for my mum now she has moved in with me and have helped share the load,for which I am very grateful. The carers are all kind and caring and respectful in our home. They are professional but have time to have friendly chats with mum whilst dealing with her personal care needs or providing meals. Mum enjoys seeing them... and I am confident they will look after her when I'm not there!
