Reviews of The Chimes Residential Care Home
The chimes has been my mothers home for many years , I don’t get to see her much as I live abroad . But she has been so happy when ever I visit or call my mum is happy. Lots of activities for my mum to take part in. The staff and management are so caring about the residents. My advice would be forget what the internet says and visit the home. You will see the real home and how lovely the environment is. The new owners have spent lots of time and money improving the home for the residents. I sleep well at night knowing my mum is happy and safe because I’m not around.
My Dad lives here and I am happy with the level of care he receives. The staff are always polite and accomodating and if there are ever any problems management always sort it out for us. My family are happy to have Dad at The Chimes and feel he is very well looked after.
I have been to this care home this week and my wife and myself where blown of our feet firstly we where greeted by a lovely lady beautiful smile she was only the manager this lady is may I say an incredible lady very passionate very polite and very experienced Answering each question given to her .
She stated she has no parents and she wants the people of this home cared for the way she would expect her own parents to be ....this absolutely meant everything just amazing
Then a grand tour again fantastic staff full eye contact with the manager (Julie) I think her name and polite to us we felt immediate warmth and comfort .
This care home deserves a medal and the staff there are very well led by the manager .
We where there 45 minuets and felt I had known them a very long time .
To the ladies and the gents well done there is good people out there in this world I’ve met the best this week.
I have also informed the local authorities and cqc but I don’t believe you will have that feed back this is why I did this .
Thank you 🙏
This care home is so beautiful and stands out a mile it’s hidden well but so are the most greatest places on earth .I think the staff in this home are the nicest I’ve ever met and by god the best looking some of them the manager showed me and my father around on Wednesday and we loved it , a care home where people actually care a manager who actually cares .
Myself and my father have viewed a few homes and being told there is a waiting list means we will wait or a place for my mother.
A hidden treasure with a big pot of gold .
Lovely place with a lovely atmosphere also the home smelt so clean and fresh wellnof lovley food if i am being honest .
The manager has such an infectious laugh and we want to be hearing that again , being at this home has changed my view on care homes this place rocks .
i would like to say how proud i am to work at such a great care home, with great staff, great managment team, and the owners of the home who are always around for support, and actively involved every day. Also im super proud of the recent CQC inspection, we have just received our report, took place on 28th of april 2017, the report was amazing got all green for the service we provide, the report will soon be published on line, so look out for it, then who over reads the report can make there own mind up, well done to everyone here for their hard work and support 😉😉😉😉😉😉😉😉
The staff at The Chimes are absolutely fantastic. They are some of the most caring and empathetic people I have ever had the pleasure of meeting. The team are fantastic and look after the residents as their own.
To all staff at the chimes
It is such a shame that people desire there revenge on here to disrespect you all I’m sure the people who lower there selves to do this are no body’s just people with no lives do this .
Any way you little angels you all I can say is brush this negativity off give your heads a wobble and continue to do what you are doing as you my friends are an amazing bunch of people and you look after the residents with such dignity including my mother who had lived there for 7 years and in all the times I visit I’ve never found wet or covered in food or have I witnessed another old en caring for her so let the haters hate my friends and carry on from management to moppers your a great bunch of people much love now 💯I give this home great bunch
Nothing worse than fabricated profiles to slag of the world I see it daily restaurants pubs etc but care homes this is home to a lot of people and my wife myself and my children have a relative in the chimes and may I strongly say she is looked after fantastic she has been poorly for a long time and now she’s at her best since retiring there you people slating the place are bitter it’s becouse you haven’t the time or heart to care for your own relatives so instead you take your fingers to google shame on you all any way staff at the chimes you do work hard blood sweat and tears I wouldn’t put my relative any where but in your care you so take the advice and let it go and see you all in the week from Gaz x sue
My opinion is that its a lovely place to live. Im hoping my mother considers moving there
Amazing place with fantastic atmosphere and happy people. Very proud of what has been achieved.
