Went in to play the piano for a hymn sing-along. It was my first visit to Llys y Tywysog so I appreciated the professional yet friendly welcome from staff. Attention to safeguarding was evident. The home was clean, there were lots of team members at hand to help residents. It was an enjoyable visit.

Superb rewarding experience playing for the residents at this home. Lovely to see everyone singing, clapping along and even dancing to my rock n roll set. Sarah Taylor, the activities coordinator was superb to deal with and led the dancing with the residents. What a fantastic time and can't wait to go back.

Absolutely beautiful home. I’ve had the pleasure of providing cakes for special events organised for the residents. Also attended a spring fayre there. It’s a joy to see the happiness in the residents faces, the interaction with the workers is beautiful. You can see that this home is an extension of family. Would highly recommend to anyone looking for a small break or somewhere comfortable for a relative to live. 💓💓💓💓💓💓

Just finished working at Llys after nearly 2 and half years on maintenance. Can’t recommend this home any higher. Residents are amazing and staff are excellent and I enjoyed every moment. I am going to miss my time there.

I really enjoyed my time at Llys-Y-Tywysog care home fitting 46 brand new UPVC windows. All the residents were well looked after and the whole complex was clean and tidy. The employees were so polite, hard working and they all went above and beyond to keep myself and all the residents happy. all the staff working here are a credit to Barchester.

Been working with Matthew Burder for a good few months now ensuring that he removed any risk to the water supply within the care home. He’s shown fantastic willingness and the want learn. He’s made great progress in getting the work done, in what can be a challenging environment. Matthew is a great asset to the carehome and should be proud of the work he’s got done, he’s always been on the phone asking questions to make sure things are done right and to an excellent standard. Such a warm,friendly, inviting home. Residents looked relaxed and at ease. Nothing was too much trouble for the staff. Such a lovely place. The house itself looked clean and welcoming. I have visited this home many times. I always find it very welcoming, friendly clean and the staff are amazing. They go the extra mile for all their patients and always have smiles on their faces. The residents are well looked after and often have things going on in the home to keep them going. Michelle and Carol Ann have been there years and are not only very professional but always seam to treat the patients with respect and how you'd want your own grandparents treated. I can honestly highly recommend this home and feel all the residents are very settled living hear.

I did my first show as a singer there yesterday. It was fantastic. The residents were lovely and enjoyed the show and the sunshine. The staff were so helpful and accommodating. Due to Covid restrictions, the performance was outside, and every protocol was observed so everyone was safe. I even received a goody bag from Sarah, the Activities Co-Ordinator which was a lovely touch. The residents are well looked after and they all seemed happy and relaxed. Everything was spotlessly maintained. They even had a glass of wine during the show (not me, but I did hint a couple of times!!). Thank you to Sarah and Chloe for their kindness in looking after me and I look forward to going back in November. I would highly recommend Llys-Y-Tywysog as a care home for anyone in the area looking for a safe and happy place for a loved one.

Mum moved to Tywysog a few months ago . I knew straightaway when I went to view it that it was the home I wanted her to go to after having visited many which were unsuitable . Mum settled straightaway .. the staff are all really kind , and caring. and she loves them all ! The ‘ activity ‘ lady Sarah is great and the activities are all so varied . Unfortunately mum doesn’t want take part in much but they have tried to persuade her . Nevertheless , Sarah visits the residents rooms to engage with them and manicures mums nails too ! Michelle the manager is top class - It was because of her organisation and fantastic communication with the hospital that mum arrived at Tywysog . I am so grateful . Finally - no one wants their loved one to be in a care home but in the situation I couldn’t ask for more . Thank you Tywysog .

Llys y Tywysog care home is a wonderfully welcoming home, with a standard of care which is second to none. The Residents always looked comfortable and content with Staff being attentive at all times they seemed to go above and beyond in all that they do , always helpful and pleasant to Residents and their relatives. The home manager always welcomed visitors with a smile and had the ethos of 'Residents first 'and would be helpfull and resolved any issues within the home this was also the attitude of the care staff. The interior of the home was welcoming, tasteful and cosy the dining room was charming and tables always set nicely, the food always looked appetising and well presented with a good menu always offering choice. I would certainly be happy for my parents or grandparents to reside at this home.

Its an amazing home,the staff are kind and lovely, there's always lots of activities and always entertainment with singers also animal therapy and hair and beauty weekly, would highly recommend Llys-y-tywysog.
