I have always found the Manager Claire and her entire team to be so welcoming.
The home is a beautiful, and a well kept abode with spectacular country views.
They do not come better than this.

Barchester healthcare as a company to work for believe in their staff and I have now moved on to another care home to further my career.
I was very sad to leave Wheatlands however I still work very closely with them and share ideas and knowledge.
What an amazing place this is.

A. C.I work for a small charity called Healthy Friendships and run weekly activity groups at Wheatlands care home. Staff are always friendly and welcoming and wonderful to work with and all the residents are always happy, smiling and willing to join in any activity they can. It’s very much like stepping into a loving, family atmosphere every week.
c. b.I have found that the team at the Wheatlands do a fantastic job above and beyond what is required , recently whilst adhering to the health and hygiene of the residents they have managed to take them out to enjoy the countryside, they have been able to sit outside and enjoy a fish and chip lunch and also another day they have been out and enjoyed an ice cream obviously still sitting outside, this has been possible as the covid restrictions have eased a little. Well done to you all.
A. B.Visited wheatlands with a friend who was looking at her parents becoming residents. We were both very impressed with the staff who were very friendly and helpful on the day, particularly the Manger who showed us round. The home itself was comfy and cosy but roomy and airy too. As we walked around it was plain to see that residents are treated with the greatest of respect by all the staff. It's great to see the residents respond so warmly to the staff too. We were also impressed with the Dementia wing, it is clear that everything is being done to comfort and stimulate those who have memory problems. Well done all and thank you for your time.
J. T.residents are treated with dignity and respect by the care staff. Both corris and Ellis have a bubbly and friendly feeling when entering, staff are always happy to help no matter how small it is.
The management team are always there to offer support when needed.
The cleanliness of the home is outstanding

T. A.Excellent staff here as demonstrated by Paula Wiggan. She demonstrates that she learns how my in laws dementia progresses and how their care plans reflect their changing needs. Placing your loved ones in a care home is not easy but knowing they are being cared for 24hrs 7days a week lets my wife sleep at night!
