H.I would highly recommend The Lawns, from the moment I stepped in the door the management and staff were exceptional, the quality of care my father in law received for end of life care was second to none, he was treated with the utmost respect and dignity. As a family we were well informed and support through this very sad time they couldn't do enough for us all, Mel you have an amazing team, Karen on nights you have the utmost compassion and thankyou for being at my side at the end. Day staff you are all amazing thankyou for checking up on not only my father in law but also myself continously fantastic care you should all be very proud of yourselves thankyou for making a difficult journey so special and loved.
M. B.Being a recent addition to The Lawns who is slightly younger, i thought it might be interesting to get feedback from someone actually residing at the home. To ALL the nursing staff ,night and day, including the cleaners and all the cheerful laudry staff should never go home after work feeling like they have had a bad worthless time.Every 'hand up' and unconditionally given kind word said to enable spirits to be kept up high is appreciated threefold by the person that really needs it and what envelops this to be the warm character-filled home that it is. When recently returning from a hospital appointment at Sheffield it felt a safe relief, with lots of angels like these caring people running around,a place like ' Heaven on Earth' really does exist at The Lawns.
D. s.Some of the staff are ok others(especially the senior ones like nurses think they give juni9r staff oxygen; power has gone to their head). One can be confused because staff just send you to go do something even if you are new and don't knownthe residents
