H. W.I am a Team Leader at Parkside Lodge Residential Home in Worthing. And have worked at the home for nearly 5 years. I could not imagine working anywhere else. We are a small, friendly home on the edge of Victoria Park. All our residents receive the highest standards of care and are treated with privacy, dignity and respect. Our most recent CQC report was rated as "GOOD"
s. c.I am an Activity Co-ordinator at Parkside lodge and have worked there for 3 years. Parkside Lodge is a small, warm friendly home where all staff provide an excellent service and go that extra mile for the people they care for . As well as having a full calendar of activities for the month (introducing seasonal activities wherever possible), the residents go on outings and this summer a garden fete was organised at which the mayor and local media attended. Despite inclement weather, around £600 was raised and will go towards revamping a room into a 1930s style cinema room for the residents. We will be having a Christmas market in late November, where it is hoped the mayor will come and officially open this room for us.
Because we are a small home, all staff and residents have, in my opinion, a huge rapport with each other. Therefore if a warm, homely, friendly and professional environment is the type of care home you and your loved ones are looking for, then Parkside lodge is the one for you.
