Woodlands Children's Development Centre offers residential care, education and therapy for adolescent boys with sexualised histories. I've been to a number of such establishments over the years and have no hesitation in recommending Woodlands very highly. The following are the factors I would draw attention to: 1. High quality properties 2. A therapeutically orientated caring environment 3. Committed and experienced care staff from varied backgrounds 4. In-house therapy with two therapists on-site permanently 5. In-house education facilities 6. Move-on supported accommodation for young people on a "leaving care" pathway Woodlands was one of, if not THE, first such residential establishment in the U.K. As such, they have years of experience and have evolved their caring and therapeutic approach accordingly. Looking for a placement for a young man with sexualised behaviour? Look no further! -- Declaration of interest: I currently work at Woodlands one day each fortnight on a freelance basis providing consultation and other assistance to the management, therapeutic and caring staff. So I KNOW they're good! :-)
