I've been training at this school for a few years now and the environment is amazing. Mr Dowden is an amazing teacher who gives help with both your technique and confidence. The entire school offers a friendly and fun environment to train and will always over help either from the teacher or the senior graded students. Couldn't give this place enough praise, fantastic

I have joined the school with my older daughter a few years back now. My youngest has joined also for the last 2 years. It is a disciplined but safe and friendly environment. I would recommend it not only if you wish to do martial arts for yourself or your child but also f you are looking for a joint parent-child training and having fun experience.

Joined a few months ago found everyone in the class very welcoming. My son has also joined and has made many new friends. The teacher Mr Dowden is pleasant and is dedicated to helping each invidual and helps them achieve there goals.

It is a fabulous place for kids, who want to develop their skills in martial art. All staff of whit burn martial art center is very supportive and friendly with kids. Mr. Dowden is a fantastic teacher and also a very good person.

Not only do the kids learn taekwondo they also learn personal safety , team work,respect and discipline. It's wonderful for their self esteem and the 1st rule of Kubz is to be nice and kind. That in itself is a great thing to learn. Also if they do well at school they get a stamp in their book as a reward. Again a great thing to encourage them to do well at school too.

Whitburn martial art center is a fabulous martial art training institute.Mr. Dowden is a very polite and supportive person. He always encourages kids to improve their skills and maintains fitness.

An amazing place for your kids to learn discipline plus some self defence. Would highly recommend whitburn martial art centre. Ashley dowden is a great teacher with loads of experience working with kids and adults. If your looking for ur child to have fun and be part of a team i wouldnt hesitate in going along

My two boys have been attending for a year and have not only learnt taeqwando but also respect. It's a fab program for all ages. Mr Dowden and his staff are great with the kids. It's like a wee second family. 😊

Having trained at a number of TKD schools over the years, I have to say that WMAC is by far the best. Mr Dowden is an excellent International grade Instructor, with a wealth of experience gained from training with some of the top TKD instructors throughout the world. The facilities within WMAC are first class, catering from young children to older adults, with dedicated instructors for the younger students. The centre has the most comprehensive stock of training equipment from punch & kick pads to protective body guards. A viewing area has recently been added to the centre with Wi-Fi, allowing parents the opportunity to watch on, or to keep children occupied while their parents train. All in all WMAC is a fabulous local TKD training centre, and I would recommend it to anyone interested in taking up a martial art, or even just looking to get fit. The centre usually has start up incentives, to allow new students a no obligation look at what is on offer, ranging from free lessons to a free training suit.
