My daughter lost all her confidence in the water before lockdown and wouldn’t let go of me if we went swimming. She asked to start Turtle Pack because her friend went and she really wanted to be able to swim. She absolutely loves her lessons. Michael has very quickly put her at ease and she now looks forward to swimming. She never wants to leave the pool and always looks forward to her lessons. Thank you turtle pack staff for your kind nature and lovely manner with all the kinds making them feel safe and encouraged. Highly recommend. Thanks

My daughter started swim lessons with Turtle Pack swim academy when she was 3. She didn't have much experience with being in the water due to lockdowns and I was nervous about how she would be as she didn't seem to like the water at all. However she has got on brilliantly, loves her lessons and looks forward every week to 'swimming with Michael and Lily'. My daughter attended Turtle Pack Swim Academy this morning for the first time and it's safe to say she absolutely LOVED it. From beginning to end Michael and Ryan were amazing, ensuring she was completely safe whilst encouraging independence in the water and building her confidence. The Turtle Pack is great! My daughter loved wearing it and it helped her to feel free in the water knowing she was safe. Michael has been very informative and quick in responding to any queries. The set up of the class and changing process is extremely well organised especially during the current circumstances. The small class size is excellent ensuring all children receive 1-1 support. I would highly recommend Turtle Pack Swim Academy to anyone looking for a fun, safe, professional and experienced swimming lesson.

Michael has been fantastic; extremely fast and open communication from the off. He was very welcoming on our first day and helped our little turtle settle in and feel comfortable. Fantastic Swim school, great coaches and always quick response to any questions I had. My kids were scared of swimming 3 weeks ago and needed forced in the pool, after 3 weeks they now look forward to their lessons and my oldest is now swimming without adult support in the water. Couldn't recommend enough.

My son had his first swimming lesson with the turtle pack swim academy last Saturday and they were brilliant! He had such a great time and felt very welcome. Aiden at reception was very welcoming and helpful in giving us directions on where to go and his swim teacher, Niamh, is absolutely brilliant! She listened to his questions and anything he wasn’t sure of or hadn’t done before, she took him through it step by step and explained exactly what he had to do. He cannot wait for his next lesson! As a parent, the communication sent out by Michael is amazing! It was brilliant to have details of lessons, times, directions without having to ask and also having feedback from Niamh straight away on how my son did during the first lesson is a lovely extra touch.

My 3 little turtles were complete beginners on their first lesson yesterday with Michael & Jasmine and had an amazing time! I was impressed with the quality of teaching with smaller class sizes, and the organisation of class timings, instructions for changing etc. My daughter Maria Lucia would not part with her turtle shell and insisted on taking it to bed!! We’ve have been so impressed with the swimming lessons. Short videos were sent out ahead of time of where to go and what it would like, which was an amazing way to prepare our son as he likes to know what to expect. The turtle pack is AMAZING! We were sceptical at first it might just be a gimmick but it works so well and has given our son so much confidence. We’ve only had a few classes but based on our experience so far I would highly recommend to anyone looking for good lessons for their children.

An excellent Swim school, with warm, friendly coaches who inspire and encourage the children to get the most out of every swim session! The coaches look like they are having lots of fun with children, and it feels relaxed and welcoming! My 8 & 5yr old are always excited to go to their swimming lesson and have a great time each week! The classes are a perfect size and the coaches are able to focus on each child’s development. Turtle Pack gives my children the confidence to swim in the pool, and lets them concentrate on what’s been asked of them in the session.

My son started turtle pack swim academy lessons last term and loved it! He only started at the end of the term but he made incredible progress straight away which really helped his confidence whilst in the water when on holiday. In fact we bought him and his brother a turtle pack to take with us which made it a lot easier for me when I was on my own with both boys in the pool. These lessons are a half hour drive away which is further than I’d like but having already tried the swimming lessons in our local area these are far better. Have now booked my other son in for some 1-1 lessons which are cheaper than others I’d seen if you block book them and Quick and friendly responses from Michael whenever I’ve contacted him too.

Our daughter absolutely loves her swimming lessons with turtle pack. She looks forward to Saturday mornings with excitement and is always eager to get in the pool. She was unwell earlier in the year and lost her confidence meaning she wanted to take a wee break from swimming and Michael was so accommodating with us, letting us put the lessons on hold until she was ready to restart at no extra cost. Since she has been back she has been enjoying her class with kids a lot bigger than her (she's only 4) and Michael is so patient with her. Brilliant classes. After many lessons elsewhere, with no obvious improvement, we tried Turtle Pack, and our 7 year old loves it (he used to be really reluctant to go to the old classes). We've seen massive improvements in just a couple of lessons. The teachers are great - they're in the water with them, and they're all friendly and seem to be really good with the nervous kids too. The turtle packs themselves are brilliant - really innovative. We're so pleased we found these lessons, and I'd recommend that anyone who's not sure should give them a try.

Having known Michael and some of his team for a while, I had no hesitation in moving my daughter across to Turtle Pack. Michael is a no nonsense, warm coach, with high standards. Both him and the team will ensure they get the best out of your child. It’s rare to see so much passion for all things swimming and there is a real difference because of this. The management and communication of the school are also top notch and the facilities are excellent.

My son has came LOTS since joining. His confidence has grown for such a shy boy. He now isn’t afraid of the water/water in face - it used to be a screaming match even washing his hair! The swim teachers are all great, very encouraging and patient. The communication from Michael is 1st class. Keeps a busy mum like myself in check with everything that’s happening. My son has now been to 5 lessons and his improvement is nothing short of incredible. I cannot express how happy I am about his progress and how amazing the teachers have been with him. As a qualified swimming coach myself I wanted to take a step back when it came to my own son because I wanted him to have the experience every kid learning to swim should have. Having personally worked with the different swim schools West Lothian had to offer, I was unsure which to choose. I then found out what Michael and Turtle Pack were going to be offering and it was a no brainer. Smaller classes, more intimate coaching in a fun but focused environment. I have witnessed not only my son but other children going from nervous wrecks to confident swimmers (all be in with aids). Every child is made to feel welcomed and they get the chance a lot of children miss out on now a days to experience in teamwork, goal building, peer to peer interaction and beginnings of responsibility. I honestly can't recommend this swim school enough not just for providing the children with an essential life skill but the other skills that accompany it.

Although Niamh has only recently joined Turtle Packs I would highly recommend, she counts down the days from one class to another, she gets so excited when it’s a Saturday morning constantly asking if it’s time to go. I honestly can’t believe how much her confidence has grown in the water in only 4 lessons and this is down to Michael and his team. Meghan has honestly been absolutely amazing from start to finish. She has amazing teaching ability not to mention personality and ability to connect with children. Very patience & caring, my daughter loved her and would be excited not just to come to lessons but to see Meghan. MY DAUGHTER AT 5 YEARS OLD IS LEARNING BUTTERFLY STROKE...... The best swim lessons ever ever !! I couldn’t believe how far my girl came on only after a few weeks . Great pool , small classes , friendly staff that are in the pool with them , I could have my younger child in the same time for his lesson as well ,which was a win for me . Made life easier ! Thoroughly recommend especially if you feel your wee one is stuck and not getting anywhere in your current swimming classes .

Today was my 3yr old sons 2nd 1-2-1 lesson with Meghan and he was swimming! I was going to wait to write a review but honestly can’t recommend enough. It’s clear Michael and the team go over and above to help families and provide lessons unique to the kids they are teaching. Meghan is great with him and I’m still in shock that he was doggie paddling within 10mins of the lesson, he even gave her a wee hug. Highly recommend!
