G. W.I enrolled for the six day course in order for me to pass my Part 1 and Part 2 motorcycle test.
I had the pleasure of having Norman as my instructor. To say that he was ‘outstanding’ in his ability to teach and instruct does not go far enough.
He is the best instructor for anyone who is nervous and lacks confidence.
Any mothers out there wishing their sons/ daughters to learn to ride in a safe responsible fashion then this is the No1 place to go. It is a family run firm who are conscientious and passionate about their work.
Thanks to Dorset Advanced I can now take down my L plates! I really appreciate my time with them and I wish Dorset Advanced all the very best.

J. F.Absolutely fantastic training from Norman, just successfully completed my DAS course today! Patient and excellent tutoring given. Each day was well structured to build confidence stepping up into driving bigger bikes. Mix of off road and on the road training and of course the regular coffee pit stops!!
This followed my CBT refresher a couple of weeks back with Charlie who also gave very good training.
Looking forward with confidence now to getting myself an upgrade on my 125!!
Highly recommend to anyone looking to complete any training.

j. f.The guys at Dorset advanced are absolutely amazing, Lisa was fantastic when I done my cbt with her, she explained every exercise with great detail and allowed me to take my time when doing them and got me through it with ease 🤙🏼🤙🏼 And Norman was absolutely amazing, I couldn’t be happier with the way he treated me on the course for my ‘big boy license’ 😂 he allowed me redo certain exercises if I didn’t feel 100% on how I done it and he explained everything with great detail, witch helped me achieve my dream of getting my full bike license.
I honestly could not recommend theses guys enough, if you want to get your license done, you need to do it with theses guys, top top notch people🏍✊🏼✊🏼

My son who is 16 had a full day's CBT test today with Michael. He has never ridden but is super confident and really wants to ride. Michael was brilliant with him. He passed !!! Fin will be booking another course with you very soon to learn manual gears so when he is 17 he can ride his 125 safely with L plates. And then continue to another course so he can ride without them. Thank you Michael and all at Dorset Advanced. See you again soon. Highly recommend. As a Mum I feel alot better that he's learning the basics in the correct way and he understands the safety requirements. The more experience and support he can get from you guys before he goes on the road alone the better. Thank you !!!

I previously completed a CBT, and most recently my DAS, with Dorset Advanced, and found them to be nothing other than calm, courteous, knowledgable, and professional in their training and wider support.
Norm’s expertise was invaluable, and his approach to producing well-rounded riders, and not just ‘teaching to the test’, made learning both easy and enjoyable. Test day came and went comfortably as a result.

E. V.Chose to renew my CBT with these guys after a long few years away from the bike, so arrived at the center feeling relatively confident but still nervous.
Had the pleasure of Michael being my instructor. From the moment we started chatting I was made to feel comfortable by his charismatic demeanour and fantastic delivery of information. All information surrounding remaining safe and what to be aware of was told with clarity and clairvoyance, my mistakes were easily diagnosed, and with how easy-going and relaxed he made everything feel, I was not restricted by doubts and certainly didn't feel like I was being pressured by an overly-strict tyrant, more like a supportive buddy who knew the important difference between when to be sensible and informative, and when to have some fun with his deliveries and even sprinkled in a few dad jokes. (I promise I laughed) (on the inside)
I couldn't have asked for a better tutorage, Michael is a fantastic instructor. There are many teachers out there, but not many enjoy what they do, not many are passionate, yet you can clearly tell Michael is functioning on a higher level of care and investment into his craft, his teaching and attitude is authentic, and he's gotten damn good at it.
I wish Michael and Dorset Advanced all the best with their future endeavours, I have no doubt many more success stories will come their way, and many more successful riders will come out of this center thanks to them.
I was one of them, passed the CBT and feel confident and ready for the roads again.
