My daughter attends Carden Primary School and I would 100% recommend this school to prospective parents. From the very first meeting (when I was choosing a school) I was impressed by the professionalism and commitment of the staff, the well-behaved and happy school children and the amazing spaces they have both inside and outside.
My daughter's experience of starting reception was excellent, and for this I give the credit to the school, having organised stay-and-play classroom sessions, nursery visits, home visits and a gentle increase in the length of the school day. I feel that this all contributed to my daughter feeling at ease and indeed happy and ready to learn.
The school uses cued articulation to learn phonics and I am amazed at the reading progress my child has made. Parents have also been given an opportunity to attend a learning session to help our children develop their reading skills.
The school has an active, fun and welcoming Parent and Teachers Association (PTA). The PTA are continually working to help improve the experience of every child and indeed parents at this school.
The inclusion of all children and the ethos of acceptance and kindness is apparent in my daughter's progression. I have every confidence that she will leave this school not only well-educated, but also a kind and thoughtful child.

My little boy started in reception this school year. At 4 years old he is reading, writing, and developing a love for learning. He is being taught social skills and has some amazing little friends at school. The teaching staff are dedicated, involved and committed. The headteacher has instilled across the school a fantastic set of values which is expressed in the teaching. The school also has a brilliant community feel - the PTA are very active and inclusive. Parents can be involved as much they want. There are regular events, fetes, activities, even camping trips. My son loves going to school and is thriving at Carden Primary. I would recommend any parent who are at the point of selecting a school to at least go to an open day and take a look.

My son has nearly finished his first year at Carden School, he is really happy and thriving there. I cannot praise the teaching staff and assistants enough. It has been amazing to see how far my son has progressed. He can now read and this is all within his first year there! They have excellent pastoral care at Carden. My son skipped into school on his first day in September. This was down to the excellent settling in sessions the school ran. This included his teacher going to his nursery to meet him and coming to our house. The PTA is also extremely proactive and welcoming and run and organise lots of events within the school.

Amazing school, my daughter attended for nearly two years and she had loved every second of it! Fantastic staff, safe and inclusive enviroment, excellent job with children from different backgrounds. She made great progress and the school gave her a real love for learning and discovery. Cherry on top, an enthusiastic and highly motivated PTA

A fantastic nurturing school where children make excellent progress in their learning as well as learning to look after and care about each other. Plus a lovely supportive group of parents and an active and friendly PTA.

I don't know, but my friend goes there and she has loved every second of it from reception all the way to Yr6. The teachers are genuinely the most kindest and and understanding teachers she has had the opportunity of getting taught by them.

Enjoyed going to this school in year 5 and 6. The other pupils such as year 1's and 2's were annoying af but at least we were separate from them. Better than Patcham
