Reviews of Rampion Visitor Centre
Surprisingly engaging and interesting little museum. Despite its relatively small size there's so much to learn and read here, and the people behind its design seem genuinely passionate for the subject matter. I particularly enjoyed the VR experience which takes you out to and all the way up a turbine.
Free to walk in and enter. It's uncrowded during the week although it's possible you may have to book a free slot for the weekend and holidays.
Very helpful staff. Excellent exhibition.
What a great place to visit staff was very helpful well worth the visit 👍👍
Brilliant very interesting and informative
Totally recommended. Super interesting space to learn about the mills that can be seen on the horizon. Excellent tour with virtual reality glasses. Total interactivity and very friendly and attentive staff to give explanations. Both my daughters and I loved it. It's so worth it!
You must visit this place, its excellent. The virtual tour is mind blowing! You actually feel like your standing on top of a turbine out at sea!
I'll be taking my family there too.
Its fascinating to learn how the wind farm was constructed, and how it integrated into the local communities.
A very fun and enjoyable place to visit and its all free. Lots of games, interactive displays and hands on things to do.
I work within the renewables industry and I can genuinely say that the overwhelming impression people I visited with gave me after their visit is that it has been really enjoyable and very informative.
Everyone loved the Virtual Reality (VR) experience, and that's free to use too.
If you want to discover more about the Rampion Windfarm then visit the information centre on the sea front at Brighton.
What a great free attraction! loved the VR headset and the information about climate change and electricity use is just fascinating. well worth a visit.
Excellent, loved the VCR. Staff friendly and informative. My grandson, 11, really liked it
Very well thought out exhibition for all ages. We used the full half hour slot that we booked. The VR tour of the wind farm was the highlight. Make sure to book.
This is a must visit attraction. Really fascinating insight into wind power, climate change and how electricity is generated.
Small. Loved the 5min V.R. experience. Staff exceptionally knowledgeable. Could do with a better map of Rampion.
Very informative friendly staff.
