I've previously attended two courses/workshops at Bristol Folk House, including the one today which was a Natural DIY Spa day with our lovely tutor Faith. Great tutors and course content, relaxed outdoor seating area, gluten free and vegan options at the café too - can recommend their hot chocolate 🤤

Performed here last night. Staff were lovely - so welcoming - and the tea was exactly what I wanted it to be. Lovely venue. You should go.

Really great space, perfect for the Henry Normal gig.
Only question we had was what the policy is for vaping during a show. A nearby audience member vaped throughout blowing secondhand fruity/potentially-covid flavoured nicotine mist over us all evening

Lovely independent venue with great atmosphere. Saw the superb Calan there last night after having to wait two years since gig was cancelled. Gwych - diolch yn fawr! Dw i'n caru'r caws Patrick.

I have done a few art classes over the years which I have really enjoyed, but the primary reason for writing a review was regarding the café!!! excellent food and friendly staff.

A great place to experience a variety of interesting courses and people from Bristol. The cafe is very cosy and has good affordable drinks and savory and sweet snacks. The only minus is the administration of the courses and the communication to the course leaders.

It's a great place to meet others learning and practicing new skills. Its' situation is ideal for public transport, and fees are very reasonable.

This places runs a variety of courses and is one of the reasons why I go there. It is a cooperative and is not for profit and has a membership of £12, which gives you priority bookings on courses and programmes in advance too
They do day courses and term time courses and special courses over the summer holidays - book over the phone or by post.
A wide variety of courses are available and the days courses gives you a good insight into something without committing to a whole term and also the tutors are friendly and also participants are friendly too
Courses are relatively cheap and there are discounts for the unemployed and seniors
You do not have to be a member to go on the courses or use the cafe
There is a café there too which is open to the general public
The entrance is up an alleyway (next door to the Nomad clinic)
Places there for bikes
Parking is difficult and if you have an option then use the bus would be best - plenty of buses stop in the centre of go up and down Park Street
Most day courses you do get a lunch break - depending on time and mood you can either use the café or there are plenty of options up and down Park Street

A great, friendly, well managed and Covid safe place with a huge range of classes (and events, when things get back to some sort of normality)

Shame about the toasties we had. For £4.50 and £5.00, we expected it to be served with a generous salad. Unfortunately it was just literally toastie on a small plate! Pretty disappointing on the value. The toasties were very tasty but did not fill the void.

Great selection of gluten free, dairy free and vegan/vegetarian options from the in house cafe. Quirky, great music.

An amazing variety of courses ("learning for pleasure!). I attended the pottery day course this weekend and I would 100% recommend it.
