My child goes to this lovely school and is very happy there. H
e has always been well supported and encouraged. The teachers know their individual children well and work to bring out the best in them. The head has always managed a great team of hard working staff who make the school what it is. I would 100% recommend Hambrook primary school as my child actually goes there and experiences it's positives on a daily basis. I wouldn't review a restaurant or hotel I had only read about, and never experienced first hand.It is clear from these reviews the parents that actually have experienced this wonderful school and are in a position to actually offer a valid opinion.

My child attends this school. It is a wonderful school with a fantastic teaching staff, led by a dedicated and fair-minded head. It has been an eye opening experience to witness the level of vitriol directed at the school by people who have no association, or direct knowledge of the school, or the situation. Based on direct experience, my child is happy and thriving in a positive environment. My child is lucky to attend Hambrook School and I would not hesitate to recommend it to others.

I am a teacher myself (at a different school) and have two children who attend this school. I would 100% recommend this school to others. The staff are very caring and hardworking and both of my children have had fabulous opportunities here. The negative reviews on here are written by people who do not have children at the school and often do not even live in the UK who have reacted to something they read in the news. It is not a true reflection!

Both of my children attend this school. They are both very happy there and we, as parents have been very pleased with the running of the school - the teachers are fantastic and are led by a good Head Teacher. I feel sad that the recent media coverage has led people into posting bad reviews on the school, purely as a result of this - their children haven't attended the school and they have no experience of it. Like Mrs Campbell has said, you wouldn't review a restaurant if you hadn't eaten in it, so why would you review a school if your child has never attended it? I would hope that any perspective parents would look at the school's Ofsted Report and then visit the school before making an informed decision on whether to consider the school for their child.

Best not to listen to the reviews left by people who haven't even ever been within a mile of the school grounds. My children are very happy at this school, the teachers are lovely and it is a very happy environment for young people. A media storm is not what this school should be judged on, rather on the good work they do with our young people. Respect and best wishes to all the teachers and staff.

A review based on experience & not media hype: two of my children have attended this school & we are very pleased with the standard of education they have received. The staff are fantastic, willing to listen & provide support for children. Please remember there are two sides to every story & make an informed decision rather than one based on a "good news story".

Our child goes to Hambrook Primary School and is very happy there. The dedication of all of the staff is outstanding. They have, and continue to have, our full support.
I know that we all say the phrase 'the world is getting smaller' but this is taking it to extremes when people can pre-judge and comment from the other side of the world on a small local school hearing one side of the story from the media ready to twist a story at every opportunity

Hambrook Primary School is a fantastic school. The staff are, without exception, completely dedicated and our children are thriving there. It is appalling that total strangers who know very little about the situation and are unfamiliar with the school and its staff are so quick to pass judgement and make such poisonous, damaging comments.

I am fortunate that my children attend this wonderful school. It is run with integrity and compassion, and the teaching staff are creative, energetic and really engage with the pupils. The school is full of happy, kind, polite children who care for and support each other.

Lovely school, very caring dedicated staff and a very friendly family feel to it. My son has a life threatening food allergy and the school could not have been more accommodating and helpful. I'm confident he is safe in their hands.

A great school, whose name and reputation will not be tarnished or sullied by the professionally indignant posters on here and in other forums who have no experience of it other than the sensationalised headlines derived from one perspective on an unfortunate misscommunication or at worst a case of mismanagement.
Excellent supportive staff, excellent community of inclusivity and a happy and vibrant school of children, evidenced in the play ground every morning and evening.
