Thanks to IKB’s work experience program I gained experience and a insight into industry and a foot in the door with a Advanced apprenticeship scheme. The sixth form gave me the skills needed to complete the scheme and I’m now fully trained with a job in a competitive industry. Without IKB i wouldn’t have been exposed to this industry and I may not have even come across the scheme. My previous sixth form lost interest in me as soon as I made them aware I wasn’t interested in going to uni at that time and IKB welcomed me and supported me throughout the entire process.
