Really lovely sessions- my little one was 7 weeks when we started and although does sleep through some parts of the sessions it has been a really lovely way to dedicate time to him and learn massage skills to do at home together. Emma is really thorough and makes the sessions relaxed and no pressure if baby does want to sleep or feed! Would definitely recommend

What a wonderful experience! We did a 4 week massage course (our antenatal group of Mums) and had such a lovely time. Emma was really supportive and encouraging and really took the time to make sure we had a relaxing and informative experience! Thanks you

I attended Emma's four week face-to-face baby massage course and my baby and I both really enjoyed it. Having just had lockdown restrictions eased it was a lovely Covid-safe environment to learn some skills, bond with my baby and meet other mums with babies of the same age. We're still using massage as part of our bedtime routine and its a lovely relaxing activity for both of us.
I've since also joined Anna's online weaning course which was very informative in a nice relaxed way. Its given me some confidence to start our little one on some solids. Bring on the mess!
Would definitely recommend the courses provided by the Gentle Touch.

A brilliant course that my 10 week old baby really loved. Emma is a great teacher and creates a lovely calm environment for us all. I would thoroughly recommend her classes to all new parents.

Lovely classes! Emma creates a very positive, warm and calm atmosphere for both parent and baby to relax and enjoy some lovely time together, while learning a very useful and enjoyable skill. Highly recommend!

We had become really confused with reading lots of conflicting advice on how to improve sleep that never quite matched our particular circumstances.
Emma looked carefully at our current patterns and experiences. She gave us the confidence to change what we were doing with our daughter’s sleep routine in a way that was gentle and that we felt comfortable with. A turning point was understanding that a child crying because they have been left all alone against their will is very different to a child crying in the arms of a loved and trusted parent. This really unlocked things for us.
Her experienced input helped us to put a new plan put in place and stick to it! The small changes to the evening routine improved bedtime almost immediately. Nights are slowly improving too.

Great course with Emma - she was encouraging and friendly - not only facilitating a great practical element but also a social environment. Would recommend x

I did both the baby massage course and the weaning session with Anna.
We had a lovely time - even though my little one was slightly older than the rest of the class (4 months when we started massage), he now really enjoys it.
The classes were at a lovely pace and it didn't matter if your little one had decided that today wasn't for baby massage, as there was excellent course material provided so that you could go home and practice with prompts (very useful with a sleep-deprived brain).
The weaning class was very balanced and informative, and has given me confidence to start weaning!

We did the four week baby massage course with Emma and it was great! Really well organised and our baby loved the massage. I learnt a lot on the course and would reccomend it to other parents.

I did the baby massage classes with The Gentle Touch when my little girl was about 5 months old. The classes were great – really relaxed, and we both enjoyed them. For me, the best part was learning how to massage her tummy to help with her digestion and the techniques really came in useful when she had wind. She also seemed to sleep really well in the evenings after we’d done some massage. Would definitely recommend.

I wanted to learn baby massage on a 1-1 basis especially as I was recovering from a c section so it was difficult to get out and about. Emma is fantastic, she came to my house for 3 sessions. She is very warm and puts you at ease- as you can imagine it’s not always predictable with a 8 week old baby! Emma was so good she even gave my son cuddles and he fell asleep! I learnt baby massage and had a little break at the same time! Perfect! Very professional, would highly recommend.

I contacted Emma after seeing a post on their instagram page about going through a traumatic birth. I can only speak extremely highly of the service she provided for me in helping me to acknowledge my trauma and validate the chaotic jumble of thoughts and feelings I was having. We met during lockdown outside during a 'walk and talk' and after initially feeling apprehensive and scared about what this initial talk would stir up inside me, I can honestly say I looked forward to our meetings afterwards. I always came away feeling positive, connected to myself and more connected to my baby. Emma has a lovely manner about her, where you can feel no judgement in the things you say and she is able to offer guidance and mechanisms to guide you through difficult feelings or thoughts you need to process. Very professional, personable and made me feel completely at ease right from the start. I can't recommend her highly enough and will be recommending to any friends who are struggling as a mum having gone through a difficult birth. Thank you!

I attended a class in February with some other mums and found it so useful. It was really informative, non-judgemental and it gave me some really good ideas on how to start weaning. After a month of weaning, my baby was struggling a bit with starting solids and Anna was so helpful when I messaged her for some advice.

I did the baby massage course with my daughter starting when she was 10 weeks old. The classes and hand outs were easy to follow and she took to it straight away. I found it a nice relaxing activity to do with her at about 4 or 5pm every day when she was starting to get tired and restless. I carried on massaging her regularly until she was about 7 months. It got really fun when she learnt to roll over!

Anna came to our house for a 1:1 weaning consultation (I’m a first time mum who doesn’t know what she’s doing!!). Even though I’d read lots about weaning I still had so many questions and my little one struggled to digest most of the food I’d offered him. Anna explained what the problems might be and what to look out for, and also offered some great sleep advice. Our little one already sleeps better as a result and is now fully enjoying his food. Thank you Anna!

I recently attended the Weaning Workshop, and Baby Massage course with Anna from The Gentle Touch, and can honestly say they were both worth every penny. The quality of the teaching was exceptional, the information provided both on the course and in the handouts was wonderful, and I can highly recommend The Gentle Touch. Wish I'd known about them slightly earlier ;-)

I got in touch with Anna as I was struggling with my daughters diet and lack of interest in eating solids. Anna’s advice was invaluable and has enormously helped in getting my daughter to eat. She provided a detailed nutrition plan (including some really tasty recipes) which has given me all the knowledge I needed to ensure that I am offering her a healthy fully balanced diet. I would not hesitate to recommend Anna - her help was just what we needed. Thank you Anna!

It is a very relaxing hour for me and my little one loves it as well.
Great bonding with your baby and get to know what movement is good for them is great!
Also we mums often forget about ourselves, going to baby yoga makes me realised how tense I am and I do need to make time for myself so I can look after my baby!

Emma was fantastic! I really enjoyed the baby massage course I did. Would definitely recommend :)

Both the weaning course and the one to one consultation were informative, personable and reassuring. Anna’s understanding, knowledge and care made me feel at ease. I left both courses with the clarity, direction and simple practical tools that I was seeking.

Did this course privately with a few other mums I know. I found the space and environment very calm and welcoming.
Im now trying to do a little bit of massage every morning (when my baby is in a great mood!) and I already feel quite confident with all the different strokes .
Thanks so much Emma!!
