The teaching is second to none and caters for all abilities I didn't truly realise how good of a BJJ school this place really is until I did a recent BJJ tournament at Blue belt, the main BJJ reception asked which school I represented I replied "CF24 Jiu Jitsu" He then replied "Oh that's Bryn's gym, oh you will do well" I took Gold at the tournament The training culture here is friendly and rewarding If you want to get good quickly this is the place to be

I started my jiu jitsu journey at CF24 and have never looked back. As a beginner initially I had no idea how to navigate through such a foreign and complex sport. The coaching is world class and breaks down techniques and concepts to suit everyone. By far the greatest strength of the club is the culture it promotes. Everyone roles with everyone including the coaches and no one lines up in belt order. There is always time to spar after class and people are always available to answer questions and practice techniques. We roll hard but after class its like a second family. The new premises are amazing and I can't wait to see what the future holds for the club once the world resumes normality!

When I started training at CF24, after getting my blue belt from a different gym, I was immediately impressed by the high quality of their students. The coaches are amazing as well as very friendly and approachable if I have any questions or technique I need help with. I’ve been training with CF24 JIU JITSU since 2019 and also been training Jiu Jitsu for 18 years. I’ve been training with so many clubs before, good clubs to be fair, but none of those clubs made me feel like home, like the club I started back in my country, the atmosphere that we have in class is incredible, world class instructors, highest level of knowledge and the most important thing that you will have for the rest of your life is the friendship that you will make inside of the mats, it’s like my second family, I actually spend more time with them than my normal family !...suitable for all levels, no need to be talented, just give yourself a chance to try and you will thank them forever!

This is an amazing bjj school for adults.....But a special mention has to be made for the junior class. Ellie the teacher "gets" kids and how to explain techniques to a 5yo in a fun and manageable way. All the kids have a brilliant time and stay focused and happy every class. We have tried 3 other bjj classes for our 5yo daughter and she hasn't enjoyed them, but she absolutely LOVES her class at CF24. I cannot rate the quality of the teaching and the atmosphere highly enough.

I have trained Brazilian Jiu Jitsu for the last 9.5 years at multiple locations across the UK, and also in Ireland and The Netherlands. The instruction at CF24 Jiu Jitsu is second to none. The speed of progression is exceptional, which can only be attributed to the excellent teaching and the club culture. Training is tough and there is lots of it. Instruction is excellent. The coaches compete at the highest levels (World and European Champions). The rest of the team are super cool. Personally, I love all of the above, I love the team, I love the music and I love the way there is never a rush to leave. After class, there is time for extra rolls, experimenting with techniques, getting some help from the coaches who always stick around to help the team and work on their own development. The team and coaches are always present at competitions to support and corner. If you like Jiu Jitsu, you will love CF24. See you on the mat!

CF24 Jiu Jitsu is an open and welcoming place to train. Bryn, Ffion and Omied have a passion for teaching and encouraging development in all their students and have forged a friendly, hard-working community as a result. Their teaching methodology is has a system-based approach which has suited my learning style perfectly. Far from being purely theoretical, the systems approach makes the connections between positions and techniques clear and make a huge difference in my confidence in applying what I’ve learned. The results speak for themselves when you see CF24 students in competition. I personally can’t compete at BJJ, and while CF24 is an amazing place to train for competition, I still feel a ‘part of the team’ despite just wanting to learn for my own enjoyment and fitness. If you’re new to BJJ, a veteran of the sport, new to Cardiff or have been training elsewhere, pay a visit to CF24 and you’ll feel welcome.

A couple of points that make CF24 Jiu-Jitsu especially great (in my opinion) Classes are taught with a systems approach. At all points the coaches are talking about the principles behind what they're showing. Systems taught one month link in with systems taught in another. Over time complex flow charts are put up on the whiteboards. It feels like next level s** Loads of sparring! After class there is a minimum of 1 hour of available sparring time and in practice it almost always runs beyond that for those who never want to go home. For me this is a huuuuuge benefit and I don't think I could go back to any other way now. At CF24 there is a culture of sparring where everybody rolls with everybody. I feel like this is great for everybody's learning but it also makes the atmosphere feel really egalitarian and homely. Anyway, it's an easy 5/5 from me. Go check it out!

Best Jiu jitsu in Cardiff and Wales, if you're looking to compete and be at the highest level out there you definitely want to come and try it. Every lesson taught by legitimate British, Euro, World champion and ADCC level and also offers a really high standard wrestling classes.

The MUST GO place for `BJJ in Cardiff, amazing atmosphere and super friendly. Coached by legitimate British, Euro and world champions with structured programs and awesome beginners coarse that would get anyone addicted.
