I reached out to Craig via WhatsApp and he responded quickly, good information with a flexible and available schedule. I walked into a Sunday Advanced Class full of elite athletes and spent the morning fighting for my life in a controlled, professional and high level environment. More than I could have hoped for. Went back to a few classes after as I was in town for a week and it was the same level in all the sessions. Special mention to Craig and Oli for the time, patience and friendliness. I’ll see you again next time I’m in Wales. To anyone reading this, if you’re in Cardiff and looking for a place to train. This is it, look no further.

Have been training at CEA for around 6 months and can honestly say it’s been one of the best decisions I’ve made. Having put off joining a club for a number of years and, since finally making the choice to head down, all the guys and girls at Craig’s place have been incredibly welcoming and the coaching is world class! A big group of people with mixed abilities, backgrounds and training goals can be difficult to manage but the sessions are well designed to suit everyone’s needs - makes me wish I’d started years ago and would strongly recommend anyone considering it to come down!

I love this place, a Bjj, judo, no gi and wrestling mecca in Cardiff. South Wales has a very up and coming grappling scene at the moment but Craig covers all bases in one gym. My daughter loves it there too so it's a thumbs up for adults and kids alike

Craig seriously knows his stuff, really good numbers on a Saturday, the wrestling class is brilliant and the open rolling/grappling afterwards is ace. The club is a Friendly environment, not all gyms are like this and members are more than helpful! Shaun (Laidback) Luther.

Craig is a highly experienced coach and competitor, who has competed and coached at international level during his Judo career and his experience at that level has crossed over to his coaching, where his instruction is very clear, concise and detailed. He has won international titles in Brazilian Jiu Jitsu as have his students, thanks to his coaching. I would highly recommend heading to one of Craig's classes and picking his brain of his 20+ years of grappling knowledge. Craig is one of, if not the only Judo and Jiu Jitsu black belt in Wales and it would be a travesty if you don't pop in for a class if you're living in the city or passing through.
