My daughter has been learning Violin at IMS for over 2 years now. She is making excellent progress . Immanuel and Daphne provide a nurturing environment with good leadership and excellent communication. The concerts they organise help children build confidence . I would highly recommend IMS to anyone looking for music lessons.

I am so pleased with the progress that my two children are making with Immanuel at IMS Cardiff. Immanuel’s lessons are very engaging and fun which encourages my boys to want to practise and constantly improve. They have only been playing piano for a few months and they are already performing pieces and scales with both hands. Their musical theory knowledge is also developing well. After each lesson, notes are emailed to help us parents support and understand what needs to be practised ready for the next lesson. I am looking to forward to watching my boys perform in their first concert with IMS Cardiff, together with the other students. IMS Cardiff is located in Cardiff City centre which is really easy to access and has free parking. Thank you to Immanuel, Daphne and the team at IMS Cardiff.

Immanuel has been my tutor for over six years. I've seen his business develop a lot over that time and I've recommended friends and their children to his business. He's a very patient and enthusiastic teacher and our lessons have kept me motivated to keep playing for a long time. He's great at remembering the music and styles you enjoy, to make recommendations on pieces and at providing feedback to help you develop further. With Immanuel I've developed from playing very simple pieces to being encouraged to now play long complex classical pieces and there's still a lot to learn from him.

I would highly recommend IMS. We were paying for my son to have paired piano lessons in primary school and he made hardly any progress. After 2 terms learning with Immanuel at IMS his piano playing has come on exponentially. He is confident and enjoys the piano lessons and practice and pleasure he gives by entertaining others. The tutors have high expectations and standards but are encouraging and supportive too.

I would recommend IMS to your children because we have been to various music teachers within the city, and eventually , fortunately ended up with this team of music teachers. They are very friendly with the children, and encourage and enthuse them to take interest in their music, and are very appreciative of the children's progress. The end of term concerts help the students the showcase their talents to the family. Overall, top class!!!

All my children have benefitted very much from this music school. Immaneul and Daphne and all the music staff have done an amazing job to create a rich and musical environment for all the students who learn from them. The quality of teaching is high and focuses on students' ability to learn independently. Even with the on-going pandemic, this gave rise to a couple of splendid term concerts held over zoom, which we are extremely grateful for. We have extended family as in grandparents in Singapore, aunties in Australia, cousins in England and more relatives all around Wales that were able to view the live concert of our children performing from their home. It is indeed delightful and inclusively special to those families like ours, to be able share such precious moments with their loved ones around the world. I cannot recommend this school enough to everyone - the staff are professional and dedicated and committed to helping their children achieve their best musical abilities.

I feel extremely fortunate to have found music teachers like Immanuel and Daphne for my children and myself. They are both talented musician who are passionate about music and keen to pass on their knowledge. The progress my children and I have made far exceeded my expectations. They are most encouraging, enthusiastic, supportive and patient. They have also given them many opportunities to perform in front of live audiences which has been amazing for their confidence. The lesson notes they send at the end of each lesson are very detailed so we know immediately what needs to be improved. They even send us videos of how to play tricky parts to practise between lessons when need be. I have no hesitation in recommending them!

Such a wonderful experience. I always found my piano lessons with Immanuel to be thoroughly enjoyable, extremely productive and inspiring. After having a few year gap in playing the piano after having lessons throughout my childhood, at the age of 22 I wanted to pick it back up, and had a couple of pieces I wanted to master including Debussy's Clair De Lune. Immanuel was entirely supportive and so flexible, and taught me new and envisionary ways of looking at the piece and the best practising techniques than I have ever received in all my years of piano tuition! I have been very happy to teach guitar for Music Central for the last six months, not only for the professional environment that it offers but also for the fact that all the teachers share a big passion for music. Students are able to progress at their own pace in a creative, nurturing atmosphere, and at least in the guitar department, they are able to explore different genres than classical such as rock, pop, jazz and blues. It is also fantastic that Music Central offers students the chance to see professional musicians play live as this gives them something to aspire to.

I feel so compelled to write a review for Music Central! I am brand new to music, having battled a yearning to learn the violin my whole life. I turned 30 last year and was hit with the thought 'it's now or never!' I sent a nervous email to Music Central and was thrilled to have a very friendly, welcoming response from Immanuel. I am currently taking lessons with their violin teacher, Charlie, and I couldn't be happier. I honestly keep bursting out laughing! Charlie is wonderful! She's really understanding and incredibly supportive. I can fit lessons around my work. I don't feel silly that I'm starting right at the beginning. I don't think I could have managed so well without a teacher. Contacting Music Central was the best thing I've done for myself in a long time.

I was a little apprehensive as while I have enjoyed singing, I didn't have any formal background in it and limited musical tuition previously. As part of the staff (cello teacher) is an absolute pleasure to work at IMS Cardiff since the school oppened. Staff and students of all ages come in the grounds with a smile on their faces and leave with an even bigger one. All matters are dealt professionally and with extreme politeness.
