We had the most incredible experience making our wedding bands all thanks to Jude! She is kind, patient, friendly and so knowledgeable. We couldn't have asked for a better day and we would 100% recommend this to anyone looking for a really special, unique and memorable experience. We were complete beginners, but both of our rings have turned out perfectly and we can't wait to wear them every day.

I recently attended the beginners jewellery making course with Jude and was amazed how quickly under her expert tuition we were able to use the required tools to produce our own unique jewellery. Each week we learnt something new and after six weeks we had made a necklace, ring and earrings. It's a fantastic thing to learn a new skill and I can't recommend this course highly enough!

Jude's workshop was an absolute joy! We had the silversmith ring workshop for a friends hen party and Jude was incredible! There were lots of us and all very excitable, so it was like herding cats for poor Jude! But she was so fabulous, super patient and we all had the best time and everyone came away with beautiful jewellery pieces! Will definitely be coming back for more! X

I have just had the pleasure of completing three of the Sunday silver jewellery making courses with Jude- she’s an excellent teacher, so friendly and makes you feel really at ease. I did three of the workshops- studs, pendant necklace and a ring. I learnt so much about silver smithing, and felt I improved each time- testament to Jude’s excellent teaching skills! The studio is a fantastically relaxed environment to work in, such a brilliant way to spend a Sunday morning or afternoon. I can’t recommend these classes highly enough & am really looking forward to doing more next year!

We booked a wedding ring making session with Jude, wanting to do something different rather that buy ready made rings from a shop. It was well worth the money and the trip from Bristol! Jude was very helpful with her advice on materials and technique we should use to achieve the result we had in mind. She guided us through the whole process, so we felt comfortable in what we were doing, and was a great teacher. We had a lot of fun making the rings, and thanks to her knowledge and the way she made everything easy for us to follow, we are really happy with the end result. We love the thought that we will always be able to remember how we made our own wedding rings together!

I can’t recommend doing this course with Jude enough! As a total novice to working with silver (apart from the occasional polishing!) and a hopeful jewellery-maker in training, I didn’t know where to start, but I was lucky enough to find Jude’s course online. Jude is an incredible guide. Her knowledge of silver work and jewellery craft is vast, and she will go out of her way to help you understand a process… We were given fully equipped tool kits with everything we’d need, comprehensive prior session instructions and Jude brilliantly demonstrated process at the start of every session, which made me feel extremely confident when I attempted to make my own items. I made pieces of jewellery I wear every day and I’m so proud I crafted them myself... You’ll genuinely be shocked at what you can do with Jude’s support!

I was lucky enough to take part in two beautiful Jewellery courses run by Jude and what a gorgeous experience. Jude is so relaxed, friendly and professional and the classes are structured so that all levels can have a go and are really clearly explained. All the stages are explained step by step and done together, and all the materials are provided. All we needed to bring was our ideas. It's been a lovely learning adventure, in small groups with lots of help and support. I'm in awe of the beautiful pieces we have all been taught to make and can carry these skills through to develop further. We made simple stud earrings, a texturised ring, and a lovely hoop pendant in the first course. On the second course we learnt how to carve and cast in wax and then how to bezel set a crystal of our choice into a silver band we made...so lots of different explorations! Very much looking forwards to having a go at more courses Jude runs and making more beautiful sparkling jewellery from home with my knew knowledge. Big thanks to Jude! I wish her well for future adventures teaching her awesome classes in Cardiff and highly recommend trying one of her jewellery making courses.

Spent a wonderful afternoon at Jude's studio for a birthday treat of a ring making workshop. Even for such a simple piece there was a good range of ring styles to choose from. Jude was so friendly and explained all the steps really clearly, we were totally free to go at our own pace. I recieved the best Christmas present- A 6 wk Beginners silver jewellery Course with Judith De Berker. I've learnt so much and thoroughly enjoyed every minute. Jude is an excellent Tutor with endless patience and professionalism, is knowledgeable answering all jewellery questions thrown at her. I'm so happy with what I have made, my Necklace, Ring and earrings have become quite a talking point as so many people have given me compliments on my Jewellery that I actually made myself. If your thinking about doing a course with Jude, stop thinking and do it, you won't regret it. I'm looking to do the next course up with Jude in the near future. Excellent Tutor and Lessons in a comfortable studio with a vast amount of equipment and you take home what you make.
