I had my CBT with Global Motorcycle Training today (17/11/2021). And I would strongly recommend them, if you hire a bike from them they use smart modern bikes which are easy to use. The instructor that I had today was Steve and I found him to be very patient and explain things extremely well. It made it an enjoyable day and a good experience. And afterwards I ended up with gaining my CBT so it was a good day all round. Plus the price of taking your CBT with them from what I found from looking online they are also the cheapest I saw, and the best.

I wish I’d have gone there first - but better late than never. Very welcoming, friendly environment. Plenty of teas and coffees, very courteous and accommodating. My instructor was very helpful and patient teaching me about the bike and how to safely ride on the road and made me feel very comfortable. Fantastic Motorcycle training center. The owners and staff are lovely, I did all my CBT's and my A2 with them last year. This is a late review, as i took my C.B.T last month with this lovely family run business, they make you feel welcoming, comfortable and at ease as much as possible, few jokes and banter chuck in there also for good measure, but importantly when comes to C.B.T they are very professional and on the ball. so overall they are a recommended business to go to, weather its to take a C.B.T or to purchase a bike or any other equipment.

Brilliant little company, the guys are very chilled out, they take you through everything step by step and don’t pressure anything. If you make any problems they will tell you then and there, explain what you did wrong and make you repeat until you do it right. They also offer tea and coffee and over all has a friendly atmosphere! They offer bike gear aswell as which is good for new bikers.

Absolutely brilliant place! After a friend of mine passed his bike test here, he recommended me to the place, so I decided to head up and enquire. After being there for around 20 minutes or so, I had booked my mod 1! Managed to pass that, first time, without any minors :) booked my mod 2 the same day once we'd got back to the work shop! Managed to pass my mod 2 first time as well! The training that these guys provide is amazing and the bikes that are provided are very user friendly (even for people with bad hips & knees like myself). Highly recommend these guys to anyone looking to do their motorbike test! :) very proffesional, genuine and helpful. Always answered any questions that I had and made me feel at ease at all times! I bought myself a nice little Honda Hornet 600 a few weeks after passing my test in August and have loved every minute of it so far! Thanks again guys!

Well where do I start? Gary and James are both fantastic characters who within minutes put me at ease as I set out to complete my CBT and DAS with them. Coffee and biscuits were always available which kept me going whilst taking in all the advice and experience. I passed both the MOD 1 and MOD 2 1st time which I feel reflects in the way James went through his training in a relaxed fashion but not missing any key advice or tips, the bikes I trained on are great and have filled me with confidence as they are well maintained and held the road really well. Due to Colchester not having a test centre we had to travel to Ipswich to practice and take the tests but in my eyes this is a good thing which I didn't take into account, the reason this was good as it gave me more time on the road and more experience with the bike. The price of the package was great as well and I can honestly say I have no regrets about using Global TM and would recommend them to anyone thinking about going out there and getting a licence. Both of my sons ride and there NOT going anywhere else. To sum up experience, friendly, relaxed and get the results. Thank you and I will see you shortly next time I'm in Colchester on my Thundercat. Fantastic place! Cannot emphasise enough on how good they are, staff are really friendly and easy going. Great place for all riders, whether it's for a CBT (new/young riders) or current riders who are looking to progress on the DAS course. I recently passed my A2 motorcycle test, both modules, first time... Global gave me the confidence and more than enough training to make sure I am ready and I feel ready for my tests. They want you to progress and do well, so they help as much as possible. Would not go anywhere else and would recommend to everyone to go to Global. Came to do a CBT previously self taught to ride a manual bike, was gave a heap of useful information fromy instructor to improve my clutch control. Very patient and incredibly knowledgeable. A very welcoming team and couldn't recommend enough. Young lad in there done some work on my bike and went beyond even replacing bolts I had forgot to re fit once taking off my mud guard at home. Passed my full bike license at very short notice with Global. Had about 3 weeks left until my theory and CBT ran out when I first phoned them. They were very accommodating with times and even moved somebody else's test so that I could do mine, as I was having trouble getting time off work to do it. Ended up passing module 2 two days before my theory ran out! All of them are very friendly and helpful, in particular my instructor James, who was also very calm and extremely competent while training, and Kelly who managed to jiggle around the test bookings. All in all, highly recommended!
