So many positive things that can be said about munchkins! The staff are the nicest and kindest people I have ever met, their so understanding and accommodating. 3 home cooked meals each day which my child gobbles up everything and he can be a picky eater at times! Staff are always updating me on him which is wonderful. I really would recommend bringing your child here

The staff at munchkins are brilliant, kind and super friendly. Our little one is babbling so much since joining, crawling and growing in confidence with new people. He is so happy to go in and I always pick him up and he has the biggest smile on his face. The photos and updates during the day are brilliant which helped so much especially during his early days to see how he was coping. The food and meals they provide the little ones is amazing and he eats so well. We couldn't fault the staff they are so caring to all kids and you can see the kids build such amazing bonds with them which is lovely to see.

Our daughter started at Munchkins Brightlingsea in September (she was 10 months) and the staff have gone above and beyond in helping her to settle in - we all know what it is like when a little one starts nursery. After half a term and a period of illness (where again the team were fantastic), Evie now loves going to nursery and reaches out for Georgia as I drop her off in the morning. It is great to see what she has been up to on Tapestry each day. My wife and I are so impressed - we would highly recommend this nursery!

After a bad experience with another nursery all I can say is munchkins are absolutely amazing. The staff are all great and always put my sons needs first, my little boy Michael is now ready for school in September and we owe it to all to the hard and caring work the Munchkins team do. We were really nervous to send Ollie to nursery again after a bad experience else where but to say he loves it is an understatement. He’s created a real bond with so many of the staff and is so excited to get there in the morning and see them as well as have his huge breakfast. From being in the baby room to the toddler room I know he has always been in the best hands and well supported. All I can say is thank you for helping him develop into the confident and cheeky little boy he is. From Caitlin in the baby room, who Ollie still mentions now to Dan in the bigger room. His special bond with Abbie is so lovely to see and Abby and Natalie have been so supportive with his transitions and even potty training! I cannot recommend them enough.

My twins have been at Munchkins Brightlingsea since it opened in April and I cannot recommend it enough! As a working parent with 18 month toddlers, Munchkins has been a life changer for me. Every day I leave my children happily waving me goodbye and all my "Mummy guilt" disappears! Natalie and the team are exceptional and they totally understand each of my little one's needs and quirky mannerisms. The staff are so loving and truly care for the children providing lots of cuddles when needed. The nursery itself is beautiful and so warm and inviting, the garden is breathtaking with a dedicated baby area with so many beautiful wooden resources for the children to use including a mud kitchen, sandpit shed and toddler climber. Every day my children have a hot, home cooked lunch and tea as well as healthy snacks throughout the day, making my life so easy when I take them home. I highly recommend Munchkins to anyone searching for childcare, we are so lucky to have such a fantastic nursery on our doorstep!

Munchkins is BRILLIANT! Milo loves his nursery days! He started when he was one and he’s very happy there. The staff are wonderful - so experienced in care and child development and he has made some really strong bonds with them, especially his key person Abbie and also Natalie who know him very well. That’s been great, knowing that he’s with people he’s completely comfortable with who genuinely care about and understand him. If I have a concern about his behaviour or anything else the staff are always great giving me advise and helping us along the way. He’s made some wonderful friends with the other children too. He’s learnt to use cutlery with his meals, how to behave kindly towards other children and so much more. The facilities are great, he plays with all kinds of sensory toys and is outside playing in the garden a lot of the time. They do a lot of nature activities too which Milo loves doing. He can even use signing to tell me what he wants which the nursery staff have taught him which is amazing and so lovely for him to be able to communicate with me before he can talk. The food is all freshly home made and he always comes home full up from a lovely healthy meal. He has a milk allergy and it’s never too much trouble for the cook to make him something special, he has all sorts of lovely vegan cheeses and milk free meals just like the other children’s so he never feels like he’s missing out. I’m so grateful we found Munchkins, I couldn’t recommend them more or be any more grateful for the time Milo is having there, he’s thriving ❤️ Thank you from the bottom of our hearts team Munchkins!

We love Munchkins in Brightlingsea! The staff are so warm and welcoming and really take our preferences to heart. We love how much time our lockdown baby gets to spend outside in the amazing garden and the rustic feel of the indoors is lovely and really inspires use of imagination and creativity. Our little one also LOVES the food.

Munchkins Nursery in Brightlingsea is everything and more. My little girl is 19 months old and loves going. Her development has really come on leaps and bounds. At times, I have to remind myself that she is only 19 months old. She will go to any member of staff, is always happy to see them. When I go to pick her up, she comes out with a big smile and says bye bye. Munching is a great nursery and I would recommend it to anyone.

Munchkins treat each child however young as an individual with wants and needs and take exceptional care of them as if they were their own. Our eldest attended Wivenhoe Munchkins and now our youngest is attending Brightlingsea Munchkins. We love how caring and professional the staff are. Nothing is too much trouble.... we are lucky to have Munchkins Nursery in Essex.

What a find! I have recently moved into Brightlingsea and needed childcare for my 2&3 yr old boys. They were really settled in their last nursery so I was very anxious about the transition to a new setting. But my worries were totally unnecessary! Natalie and her team have been fabulous at getting to know my children from the get go, making sure that the toys my boys love (dinosaurs) are always set up ready for them to play with as soon as they come in each day...we have hardly had a tear. The nursery itself is stunning, filled with natural resources which I love, but also the ethos is one that I love which encourages children to explore and play and "lead their own learning." With a back garden I would love to have myself, I feel so lucky to have found Munchkins and quite literally it is on my doorstep!

All I can say is thank goodness this nursery has arrived in Brightlingsea. Since my little one has started she has come on leaps and bounds with her social skills and also her language - and she is using makaton which is amazing!! The staff are so friendly and most importantly loving to my little one and nothing is ever too much of a problem for them. I had heard of Munchkins before and everything about them is true! Brilliant nursery!

In April I was reluctant to send my baby to nursery, I had viewed other nurseries but there was always something I was not sure on. When me and my partner went to view the nursery I asked many questions and all the answers were what I wanted to hear. For me I wanted a caring, clean and fun activity environment and my partner hates when nurseries charge for bank holidays. So it was lovely to find a nursery that ticked all the boxes. Over the last 7 months my son has built a great relationship with the staff, but two members I will particularly mention is Natalie the manager, she always has a smile in her face, talks to my son first in the morning and gets him excited to go and find out what activities are there. Natalie has also been great with any questions and has solutions and prompt reply to emails. I can tell Natalie puts her heart and sole into her job. The second member is Abbie, my son doesn’t speak much so when he says a name it means alot ‘Ab’ he loves a lot. In the morning there is big smiles, again talking to Lucas welcoming him in and on pick up full of smiles, positivity and quality information about his day. It is for these lovely ladies that have put me at ease knowing my boy is in good hands. In the morning I will say ‘shall we go see Ab’ my son will reply ‘Ab’ with a smile. I can not praise these two ladies enough!! This is a very beautiful nursery inside and out with fantastic ideas for the children to play with. But the key is fantastic staff and my sons key worker and the manager who we have our main contact with are wonderful!! I would recommend munchkins in brightlingsea and I am planing to try a forest family day which they sometimes hold and there ideas and caring spirt makes this nursery stand out from the rest.

We are from Taiwan, I really think this kindergarten is very good, unlike other schools that have term dates, they are open except for important festivals, the school also has its own kitchen, three meals and snacks, and all day From 8:00 to 6:00, parents can work with peace of mind. The kindergarten has a large space for activities, and I think the teachers are very attentive. Children go home and say what they did with their teachers and classmates today. The child didn't speak English at first, but now the English has become great and he loves to go to school (but the kindergartens here don't have real "teaching" like in Taiwan, here is more about letting the child play freely and with full company and outdoor activities, there will be no teaching them math or writing, etc.) (Original) Highly recommended👍 My daughter enjoys a lots and she always shares with me that what fun she has at the nursery. and she’s making friends with other children and teachers at the nursery which I think it’s the best part, showing how well she fits in and I guess it results from the hard work of the staff team. 我們是從臺灣來的，我真的覺得這間幼稚園很不錯，不像其他學校都是有term date,他們除了重要節日外都有開，學校也有自己的廚房，三餐點心都有，而且全日是8點到6點，父母可以安心工作，幼稚園活動空間大，老師我覺得也很用心，小孩回家都會說今天跟老師同學玩了什麼、做什麼事，小孩可以融入一個陌生環境，尤其我小孩一開始還不會說英文，現在英文變很棒也很愛去學校（但這邊的幼稚園不像臺灣一樣有真的「教學」，這裡比較是讓小孩自由發揮以及滿滿的陪伴及戶外活動，不會有教他們數學或寫字等等）
