Deciding to take French classes with Véronique has been a wonderful decision! I had my first class three months ago and my progress has been really good. I love that we work at my own pace as this has allowed me to progress faster than in any other kind of courses. Véronique is also really nice, knowledgeable and approachable, and it's always a pleasure to have my bi-weekly French class. I want to become fluent in French for my job and I know that will happen thanks to Véronique! I am looking forward to keep working with her and I would definitely recommend her classes to anyone that wants to learn French.

45 years after my last French lesson (aged 14, so you do the maths) I decided to have another go at learning the language. I wanted to be taught by a native speaker and after googling found Véronique in my hometown. Virtual lessons started during lockdown, but the Zoom experience has been so positive that I have continued with eLearning. Véronique is an excellent teacher with an abundance of patience and she has given me the confidence to take my first Insitut Francais DELF exam. Yes, I passed! If Véronique can teach me, she can teach anyone. You do not need to live in Essex to benefit from Véronique’s expertise. Take that first step, now. Philip

Véronique is a fantastic tutor originally from France . I was shy at school so I didnt get as far with my french (especially speaking) as I would have liked. I really like 1 to 1 sessions with Véronique because I know I can make mistakes freely and learn from them. I like that she has the patience to wait for me in the conversation and gives me time to formulate what I'm going to say and say it. I know that I work best with structured lessons and Véronique is good at supporting this. Equally I know that she can adapt to each student so if you'd prefer a more flexible session she can do that too!

Véro has been teaching me french for the past four months – something I've tried multiple times previously but have never seen much success with... up until now! She's a brilliant tutor who always keeps lessons fun and engaging, and is really flexible about when our lessons are (which is great for busy working professionals). We use a work book to roughly structure each session, but aren't stuck to it rigidly which means there's also plenty of time to practice conversation. I couldn't recommend The Language Experience more highly!

This review is by Colin Ebdon and Linda Simkins who are friends tutored in French by way of weekly sessions with Veronique since 2018. We are SO glad that we found Veronique. We are both retired and are returning to the French language in later life. We were both wary of joining large groups and learning with Veronique has proved the perfect solution, Veronique us a brilliant teacher. and very good at her job, She is very thorough in her teaching and both are with the formal aspects of verb tenses etc, but also very encouraging with informal French conversation. She is Patient clever and kind with a bright personality and makes our lessons with her a truly joyful experience!

I have been having french lessons with Veronique for over a year now. When I started I was a beginner and now my level is good enough where I am moving abroad to teach in french. I couldn’t be happier with the tuition I received. My level has improved so much in a short period of time. Veronique is very friendly and puts you at ease straight away as a new student. She uses lots of different methods to teach and sets you homework in between lessons if you wish. I couldn’t recommend her more.

I can’t rate the language experience highly enough. Véronique tutored my daughter in French as she wasn’t taking it as a subject at school.
