S. a.A great school, lovely staff, helpful teachers, very nice atmosphere where we met friends from around the world, top management are very friendly and I relay love to had conversation with them. the International Food Gathering was amazing and I wish if they will have in next time more variety in the customs, clothes & uniforms. I have never forgettable experience in the place and Scotland too and I rely like the place I hopefully return back to place every year just to be in their and keep in touch with Mackenzie school staff too.
A.My three weeks at Mackenzie were amazing!
Teachers and staff are wonderful – always helpful, cheerful and funny.
The classes are not nearly as theoretical as back in school. Most of the time we were discussing interesting topics or working together in groups. This way everyone was able to practise speaking a lot, wich – in my opinion – is the most effective way to improve your language skills.
I'd definitely recommend going to Mackenzie. If I get the chance, I will come back again! :)
A. C.The rooms are very modern and all the members of the staff are kind and funny. You can learn English with qualified teachers but also visit beautiful Scottish landscapes during the trips that the Mackenzie School of English organizes for you!

A.Nothing completed in this world.. in general I really like this school, they have an amazing tasking based learning.. my teacher Lida is wonderful.. the class little bit “hot and small for 12 students” .. foods activity was unique and exciting !! Choosing the host family and planning your pre arrival information is much appreciated and professionally arranged by the school. Private Taxi “not recommended as it’s too much expensive”. In my view, will visit this school if I have the chance to do it again.

L. F. O.I went to Edinburgh almost one year ago, and it absolutely was the best month of my life. My teachers at Mackenzie School were great and made me learn a lot, our guides were very very nice and my host family was fantastic. Every member of the staff was lovely and helpful, they organized for my group many trips (Glasgow, Katrine Lock, Perth..) and activities (cinema night, drama..). I also had the possibility to meet many other students from all around the world, to know the Scottish culture and to live Edimburgh (which is an amazing city) like an actual Schottish. In the end, I just want to say that it is absolutely true that at Mackenzie School every day is a special day! I totally recocommend it, and I wish to go back soon.
Y. M.My 14 years old daughter, attended a course at the Mackenzie School last September. The experience was excellent, both in terms of content and methodology, combining class room training and cultural activities, that made learning more effective and fun.
A. K.This recent trip was the fourth time I had taken Austrian school pupils to Mackenzie's and I have to say it just keeps on getting better and better. From the moment we arrived everything was perfectly organised and all the staff were extremely helpful. Thanks to Chris's intervention late on a Sunday(!) night we even managed to recover a lost wallet. All in all I can truthfully say that you won't find a better overall package, whether you are looking to take your class abroad or just want to learn English yourself. The fact that Edinburgh is surely one of the most beautiful and friendliest cities in the world is the icing on the cake. Thoroughly recommended!

C. C.I can't describe all the experiences felt in this school, but saying "I love it" runs short. Since the very first moment when one of the monitors came to the airport to collect me and the rest of my group all dressed up with the typical costume, the kilt, I started feeling so involved into the Scottish life. The school was great, I was surrounded by people from all over the world, which was so enriching! The staff in the school was incredible, and the director is HAND OFF the most amazing and fun man in the world! The place is very well located and super close to the city centre. I just wish to come back as soon as possible.
