Cannot recommend St Margarets enough. Our daughter has thrived there. the staff in every room are wonderful, attentive and really caring and energetic. The facilities are amazing inside and outside, and are maintained exceptionally. There is so much space for little ones to explore. Thank you to all the staff who work so hard there to make nursery a nurturing, fun, supportive place.

We moved to the area just before lockdown and had visited a few nursery’s that just didn’t feel right for our little boy. When we arrived for our show round at St Margaret’s, we all loved it straight away. He started after lockdown and his settling in sessions were not overlooked and everything was conducted in a safe manner. The communication from staff at the end of each day is great and gives a good insight to their day at nursery, and the spaces they have for our son to play and learn are amazing! He regularly talks happily about his day at nursery; thank you!

As an employee at st Margaret’s nursery & preschool, we are given lots of many fantastic opportunities to develop our careers through many training courses with and without the setting. We are provided with many resources for our children to explore and develop their learning everyday, especially our fantastic sensory area in our baby room, filled with lots of calming lights and various sensory toys. All the staff at st Margaret’s nursery are very kind and caring towards all the children in our care and love watching the children grow independently in our amazing environment. The gardens are very spacious and always have loads of different experiences on the go and a variety of resources for the children to use. Preschool have a fantastic mud kitchen, construction area and many other opportunities are available outdoors. Also at st Margaret’s nursery we love to help out our community by visiting the nursing home each week and going local litter picking to help keep our environment tidy.

My husband and I were very impressed with the team and nursery facilities. Bright and airy rooms for children, lovely soft play areas and garden, high quality of equipment. Atmosphere during our show around was amazing and Hayleigh put all of our worries at ease. Our son loved playing with his new friends and we highly recommend St Margaret's Nursery.

My little girl has been going to St Margaret’s since April 2019, when she was 13 months old, and has loved it from day 1. She’s thrived in the Cherry Tree Room - the amazing staff go the extra mile teaching, playing, dancing, painting (the list goes on) in a really friendly and home-like environment. She comes home having learnt new words and skills and we’re delighted with her progress. I tell my daughter that she’s off to nursery in the morning and she runs for her bag and coat and can’t wait to start her day. I can’t recommend St Margarets enough, I know that they are giving her the best start in life - thank you Shannon, Shannon, Hayley, Justine and the whole Cherry Tree team!

Excellent Nursery! I have worked in st Margaret’s for just over two years, I first started as a apprentice and then I worked towards my SVQ 3 and passed with all the help from the amazing management team who helped me whenever it was needed. The management team are so lovely and the staff are also lovely and outgoing. This nursery has so much for each child and will meet every child’s individual needs, we also have so much to do in our enviroment for the children throughout each day. We have one off the biggest outdoor spaces which the children love and even the staff enjoy the garden, so much space for fun and games.

Brilliant nursery, The nursery is very spacious and the rooms are great. Very clean and with underfloor heating which is great for crawling babies and kids playing on the floor. My 28 months old boy used to hate going to the nursery but after moving to St Margaret he can't wait to go there. They have a big garden area to use and an indoor softplay area which is ideal when the weather is horrible. Great communication with staff and managers. No problems at all.

Worked in many different nursery’s, by far the best nursery in Edinburgh with amazing experiences for children many ages. Management team are fabulous who stand by all staff and children to help us grow and emprove, Garden is well presented and also helps our children thrive. Our staff always put out full effort in to make sure all of our rooms and children are building successfully knowledge.

I was very impressed by the facilities at St Margarets and their approach to child care. The rooms are spacious and the staff are dedicated and enjoy their work. We were shown around by the director Mila and deceided to register our 7 week old son on the spot. I have been working with St Margarets Nursery for almost 2 years now and no doubt being a part of the team is amazing. My daughter is also at the nursery in the baby room, and she loves every second of it. Sometimes she doesn’t want to leave as she is having lots of fun. I have had lots of support from management team and baby room staff with my daughters settles and i am tension and stress free as i know my daughter is happy, safe, and has lots of play opportunites indoors aswell as outdoors and sofyplay.

St Margaret’s Nursery is a brilliant place to work I have been there nearly 2 years. I am part of an amazing team and they have helped me grow in confidence. I’m about to start my SVQ Level 4 management have been really supportive and encouraging me to take the next step to work towards level 4. I am a staff member here at St Margaret’s nursery and I love working here, All the staff members have such a close bond with each other and support one another inside and outside work, management have been really supportive to me and have put me through my training giving me the best experience I can gain. The children are happy and thrive while exsploring and growing in the different rooms here at St Margaret’s as well as burning off energy in our massive garden and soft play, if you have a child or children who is about to start nursery or if your thinking about it I would highly recommend St Margaret’s as your child will have hours upon fun while learning at the same time.

Choosing a preschool is a big decision for every parent, even more so if you need to find a right place for multiplets as was the case with our triplets. Since first day, our kids have loved the school, and it remains a place they return to with joy to play and learn. The school has an individual approach to each kid's need. As parents we also have peace of mind being able to follow the learning through a Learning Journal, or through close relationship with dedicated head teacher. As family, we also experienced the care St Margaret's takes of its pupils during difficult period, while one of our sons has been hospitalised. The school body has shown massive support, visiting us in hospital and proactively taking extra care of other two children. Moments like this speak volumes about St Margaret's environment, and we couldn't be happier to have joined the student body!
