Reviews of Harley's Rider Training
W. A.
I passed my MOD 2 test and owe a big thanks to the fab team of instructors. Des and Kenny were great instructors and taught me the correct techniques to ride safely. Kenny has an amazing sense of humour and I appreciate his advice on how to become a better rider. I'd highly recommend Harleys to anyone who wants training on motorcycles. Cheers!

I was in last Thursday for a free lesson and again yesterday for my CBT which I passed! Both the free lesson and the road ride part of the CBT were done with Stuart who was just amazing from start to finish, he made everything so clear and easy to understand which is exactly what I needed as I had never been on a motorcycle prior to my free lesson! I couldn’t recommend Harley’s or all of the staff more, everyone was so friendly and welcoming which made it a fantastic experience all round. I’ll definitely be back for my full license!

Did my CBT with Harleys back in Dec 2020 then passed mod1 and mod2 in May and June this year. The guys are all brilliant at what they do, experienced and very knowledgeable with a hint of lightheartedness and fun thrown in. Thanks to Des, Jim and Kenny for sharing your wisdom and support throughout. Really great experience.!

Passed my CBT today and nothing but positive things to say for any of the staff. Had a really fun day and felt like I got to grips with a lot of the basics and feel confident now to get out on the road myself. Special shout-out to Owen was a great instructor.

Completed my CBT here with Cath on 7th August and the standard of training was excellent. I've completed a few CBTs in the past with other companies but Harley's was by far the best. Very professional but also a nice relaxed and enjoyable atmosphere to learn in with the added bonus of using nice modern bikes! Would thoroughly recommend.

Fantastic training centre from start too finish. Completed my full licence with them. All very friendly staff and very helpful. 100% recommend them. Kenny and Des are both great instructors.

I had several lessons before completing the CBT - I was a slow learner! However, all the instructors, Stuart, Cath and Eoin were all fabulous; patient, encouraging and able to explain things clearly to someone who had never been on a bike before. I would like to thank Abby in the office who gave me the final, gentle push to go for my CBT. I'm so glad I did. The road ride was fantastic and I felt safe with Eoin who gave crystal clear instrictions and immediate feedback. Thank you for that. Thank you to Stuart who gave me a few lessons and built my confidence that I could do it, and to Cath who was as cool as a cucumber when I dropped the bike on my first lesson (fell off); checked I was okay and got me on another bike! I didn't have time to think about leaving it there and then. Cath also gave me a couple of lessons and thought I was more able than I thought I was! However, I've got my CBT and a bike ordered for delivery soon. Next step is getting the L plates off. I recommend Harleys - everyone was fantastic and I had a great learning experience.

I did horribly at my CBT but the guys at Harleys helped me build up my confidence and make improvements even in a short period of time. Can't fault these guys, everyone in Harleys have been super kind and you can tell that biking is their life and that they care about making sure riders are safe and confident in getting out there. Scott was also an absolute hero on the day and got me further than I thought I would have got at the start of the day even if I do need a lot more lessons.
Looking forward to getting more lessons with these guys before trying my CBT again. Not just good for practical learning but the whole school is like a beacon of positivity for new riders and they took me from a shaking mess to someone who can at least get the bike going.

Completed my CBT with Harleys yesterday and would 100% recommend to anyone, I went in with virtually no experience on any kind of bike/scooter but with the free lesson you get a perfect chance just to get the feel of riding and hopefully calm the nerves a bit before the CBT. Won't go through the CBT step by step as if you're on here you've likely read up on that, instructors at Harleys were great throughout the day plenty of instruction given and don't panic about making mistakes as you'll be given advice and time to get it right.

Mega thank you to the team at Harleys, specifically Kenny. Consistently voicing everything he was doing over the radio when he was leading and when we led, he was very clear with his instructions. When you mess up, he gives a very thorough breakdown of what you did wrong. Clearly knows his stuff and grateful for all the instruction in helping me get the mod 1 and 2 done. No more L plates!
M. E.
Was very nervous in the beginning of my CBT but the instructor was exceptionally helpful with building my confidence and ability to properly control and ride the bike, I look forward to getting more advanced training here.

I would like to thank all involved with my training especially Kenny he has a great sence of humor and all the trainers, very professional.
I wouldn't hesitate to recommend.

I recently completed my CBT to DAS with Harleys. I mainly had Des and Kenny as Instructors. Had a few challeneges along the way in regards to Lockdowns causing rescheduling Lessons etc
I thoroughly recommend them, the guys are knowledgeable and have a very calming influence. I had a few days were nerves were getting the better of me at the start but they soon had me forgetting all about it and enjoying my ride.
Thanks Guys.

These guys put me through my CBT and moving forward through Mod1 Mod2 with them. Brilliant bunch of people. Highly knowledgeable in their field and deliver information in a very understandable way. I had an excellent experience with all instructors and highly recommend not only using this ride school but taking full advantage of the willingness of all the team to share vast amounts of quality information. Great service...great product..great value. Thanks all. Ride safe every1

Passed my cbt yesterday and for a person that gets in her head too much and overthinks every mistake, I couldn't ask for a better instructor. I don't have a car license and never drove on the road before with anything. Ben is extremely patient and his sense of humor and realistic comparisons is definitely what made me pass. He even stayed 2 extra hours to make sure we all were where we meant to be safety wise and general driving..
They really good with responding to emails and general communication.. 5 stars because honestly you guys deserve more than that. I'm not one to write reviews but this needs recognition and credit.

Had a great day with the team, really down to earth and more than patient with the learners, they’re happy to go over anything that you’re not sure of, also assist and show you techniques on how to handle bikes/mopeds correctly, I’ll definitely be back for further training as I’m still new to riding and would recommend Harleys Training to anyone starting out, going over for a couple of lessons before booking the cbt would definitely help, thanks again everyone Matt :)

I’ve just completed my CBT today after only my second time on a bike.
The instructors are top drawer, very knowledgeable and you can tell they’re passionate about what they do.
They put you at ease (when they get your name right) and talk you through the process of learning to ride.
And when you’re out on the roads they’re always in your ear giving you feedback on how you’re riding and how you can improve.
The office staff book everything you need, email you the dates and what you need to bring and the whole process is seamless.
I can’t recommend them highly enough. So much so, I’ve booked further lessons.

What an amazing place to go for motorbike training. Passed my CBT after attending the free pre assessment lesson which really helped me get the feel for the bike. Instructor Hollie was excellent and explained everything in a clear and concise manner but same time plenty of banter kept you laughing thorughout, great place and they genuinely want to give you the skills to ride safely on the road, the bikes they used are great too all new ones by looks of it... defo going to be booking up for my big bike licence here too!

From never having been on a bike to passing my full test all in just over 3 months. All thanks to everyone at Harleys. Every instructor I had was patient, understanding and all done with humour but safety in mind.Any negative reviews you can discount it's generally students that cant be arsed turning up in time if at all leaving other students waiting around then expecting the red carpet treatment. In all my time spent training at Harleys I cannot think of one negative thing to say apart from my wife is raging as she is now a bike widow ( until I gain confidence to pillion her ). Thank you to all instructors and office staff for making this one of the greatest experiences of my life.
M. F.
Excellent! Professional instructors who genuinely supported and encouraged my journey from CBT to full bike license

I'd highly recommend anyone doing their CBT in or around the Glasgow area to go to this training facility. I had the pleasure of being taught by Hollie from being a complete novice to having the confidence to go out on the road and really enjoy it without fear. Exceptional instructor, patient but also straight to the point if you're doing something you shouldn't be. I'll be going back to do my whole lessons here.

Decided to take the leap and signed myself up for the Free Lesson that they offer. I was introduced to Ben, one of the instructors who was awesome and really helped you gain confidence.
It definitely worked as I have now put my name down for another lesson!
I highly recommend giving Harleys Rider Training a go and if it's not for you, you don't lose anything! You've just had a great day out :)

I just got my CBT and being an older female and never been on a scooter before and very nervous, the instructors here are great at
putting you at ease and building your confidence would highly recommend Harvey's Rider Training the place to go. Thank you all Stay safe .
S. S.
All instructors were welcoming and friendly from the start. They were willing to spend time during the breaks answering all our questions and giving advice even though they must get the same questions daily. I brought my own bike and experienced a fault and they repaired it free of charge so that it would be safe for me to ride home after. Very well paced so we could learn each step and reflect before going back out and there was constant individual feedback so we could all improve where we needed to so we could be confident and safe on the road. I'd highly recommend Harley's to anyone willing to learn seriously or to those looking for a fun day out to try riding a bike to see if its for them.
Communication leading up to it was excellent. Super fast response when contacted even though they were closed at the time and they sent out some hints and tips with the email.

Thank you for your patience and help on my cbt on the 1st time and thanks for letting me come back and do a 2 hour road
assessment which was much needed

Chose Harleys over other schools based on their friendly service and actually showing interested when I called to inquire about training, which other schools did not.
Ben was my instructor today, he is friendly and really puts any nerves you have at ease, have booked another lesson in. I would highly recommend for all your biking lesson needs.

Sat and passed my cbt today, thanks to hollie. Such a professional instructor. Full of banter and funny. I also had a free lesson a week in advance by Eoin. Also a fantastic instructor.
Will definitely be back to sit my bigger bike lessons once I've ridden on a 125cc for a while.
Cheers guys 💪👍

Their cbt free assessment is invaluable, they advise you to get it before you spend money booking a cbt which, to me, shows they are success oriented and not cash oriented. Kenny was amazing; his no nonsense and straight forward approach with a dash of humour was precisely what I needed to relax my awful nerves and stop myself from doubting what I could do! It's coming into winter but just try and get me off my bike now! Thank you again to all the wonderful staff at Harley's rider training!

Did my CBT at Harley’s on Saturday and can confirm it’s a great place with great guys. I was made to feel really comfortable all day and nothing felt rushed. Looking forward to booking my lessons to progress to my test. Cheers again Jim & Kenny!

Sat my cbt on Sunday 26th at short notice, used one of the Sinnis terrains,
For an old short arse like me,this bike was surprisingly cumfy and had a lower seat height, the road lesson was excellent as was the instructor, and for once the rain dident bother me
Would recommend these guys to anyone wanting to sit their cbt.

I did my CBT with Harleys in October and it was a relaxed and enjoyable experience throughout. If like me your only experience of motorcycles is salivating over amazing bikes then of course you will be nervous, which is only human. Once you get out on the road you will pick it up really fast partly because you will be more confident than you expected but more importantly because your instructor is connected to you at all times and gives very clear instructions and will keep you right.
Once I had got my CBT certificate it was bittersweet as I did not have a bike but I managed to get a second hand 125cc for a good price in November. Again, if you have no knowledge of bike maintenance you will learn pretty fast but only to a point as I found out. My bike wouldn't start and I had tried all the basic and obvious fixes but still no luck even after buying a brand new battery and spark plug. I had contacted Harleys for advice and not only were they happy to give advice and listen but they actually offered to come out and look at the bike for me. Jim came out and fixed it easily and I was back on the road again!
Not only are the staff excellent at what they do and laidback, friendly and welcoming but they go that extra mile for their customers and personally cannot thank the lads enough for all the help they gave me which is not their job at all and they simply did not have to do this. Thanks again Jim.
My advice to anyone wanting to join the biker community is to get yourself booked in asap! I have no experience of other riding schools but I would be very surprised if they would offer such a great service as well as advice and assistance.
Absolutely top drawer in every sense.
Once again guys, thanks a million and I will be back soon for more lessons/A licence as I wouldn't even consider going elsewhere.

Exceptional, friendly staff and first class training from highly experienced and knowledgeable instructors. Lots of encouragement and straight talking advice to keep you safe on the roads. Did a pre-CBT course and would highly recommend that especially if you've got no riding experience. Then went on to pass CBT and DAS. Life is better on 2 wheels! These guys are the best in the business so get in touch, you won't regret it.

I was a bag of nerves doing my cbt today .
Managed to pass thanks to Eoin for him being patient and knowledgeable as well as a very calm instructor.
If you are in two minds about cbt , my advise is look no further than harleys.

Hi,
I would like to personally thank you and the full team full team at Harley’s Rider Training for getting me through my CBT, Theory (advice in studying techniques) and Direct Access Scheme.
I fully appreciate all the advice, training, belief and support you gave me throughout the process.
Gary, Jim and the team are truly great in your own rights. The sheer amount of experience and knowledge you all have is phenomenal and was passed down to us as pupils and qualified riders.
I will certainly be carrying this forward continuously.
I have no reservations in recommending Harley’s Rider Training and strongly suggest anyone who is considering riding – do give these guys a call.
I wholeheartedly thank you all and wish us all safe riding…

Completed my CBT today and had an a amazing time, mainly had Ben as the instructor and he was top notch, couldn't have asked for a better instructor.
Looking forward to doing more lessons and getting the DAS underway.
Thanks to your team 👌🏻👌🏻
