Yvonne came highly recommended to us around 18 months ago when we were worried about our son’s speech. From the day we met Yvonne, she put us at ease with her friendly and supportive manner. Yvonne has guided us through, what has been a challenging time, and has been a constant support. Yvonne is incredibly knowledgeable and personable. It really is down to the advice and support given that our son has come on leaps and bounds in a relatively short space of time. I would not hesitate to recommend Yvonne to anyone who was looking for advice, support or guidance in respect of their child’s speech.

I’ve been working with Yvonne for 6-7 months for help with my 2.5 year olds communication difficulties. She really helped us bring on his eye contact, non-verbal communication, joint attention skills, understanding his needs and some speech sounds. She gave us great games and toy ideas which have greatly helped him wanting to play and interact with us. Yvonne is friendly, always cheerful and positive, empathetic and is willing to go above and beyond to help. I feel my son communicates far better after the 6 months of therapy and Yvonne has taught us strategies in how to step into his world and understand him and him wanting us to join in with his way of play. I highly recommend contacting Yvonne if you have similar difficulties with your child as she will handpick the best course of therapy for them depending on their needs. Thanks Yvonne x

We came to Yvonne because our four year old daughter wasn’t able to chat to her peers and was really struggling in nursery. Yvonne straightaway made us feel calm about the situation; she gave us instant techniques to use with her - which helped her and us. The difference just this first session made was remarkable. We had about 8 more sessions with Yvonne - each one aided with our daughter’s speech development and ultimately taking her to a place where she had the tools to speak to her peers and overcome the obstacles that were holding her back. It was a tricky road at points but I couldn’t recommend Yvonne more. She is kind, patient and extremely empathetic; and always on the end of the phone should you need support. She helped our family so much and for that, I will always be grateful.

When my son was 18 months his speech regressed and being really concerned, I found Yvonne online. The moment we met Yvonne, she put us all at ease. My son, who was shy and awkward usually, responded amazingly to Yvonne. She provided excellent advice, support and guidance. She used a different programme to what the NHS used and recommended we stopped her sessions whilst we attended the nhs sessions. We couldn’t of asked for a better experience and I have recommended Yvonne to a few families who have had similar issues with their children. The difference in my son after a few months was fantastic. He is now a 7year old chatterbox and Yvonne played in a big part in this.
