Brilliantly taught. I recently took the WSET level 2 course, held online with samples sent out to us in advance. It was really well taught by Guy, who made the course much more interesting than just having to go over all the varieties and regions repeatedly. Even though it was online, the course was interactive and engaging throughout with additional resources to help ensure you are covering off all the information in time. I’d recommend it to anyone thinking of taking the WSET Level 2 course but who doesn’t want to do an in-person version.

I recently completed the WSET Level 2 with Guy and thouroughly enjoyed the course. Having had an interest in wine for some time, the amount of knowledge I've gained over these 8 weeks has been amazing. I would defintely recommend if you want to explore the world of wine a bit deeper, and its now got me thinking about level 3. Im going to miss my Tuesday evening Zoom wine tastings with Guy!

My thanks to Guy Watson for an excellent WSET L3 course. It was both rigorous and very interesting. I learned a great deal and now have a much more adventurous approach to wine. I regret not doing the course earlier. One positive is that a number of us still meet to taste and talk about wines.

I Am not usually a writer of reviews but I would recommend the Wset 2 course to anyone, the course was very professionally delivered by Guy Watson . He ran the course over an 8 week period on Tuesday evenings on Zoom . The course mixes wine tasting and information from vineyards location ,growing grapes the production of all types of wine and their regions and much more Guy delivered the course with with interest and imparted much of his knowledge on wine with ideas on food pairing and a few questions along the way just to be sure were listening . We also got to interact on the weekly zoom meetings with other students of all ages from many parts of the world. It was a great way to spend Tuesday evenings in January and February on the final week an external exam was set on the course and if you pass there is an accredited qualification Wset2 and certificate accepted in the industry. I thoroughly enjoyed it . Thanks Guy PS you get to taste in excess of 40 good wines .

Having just completed WSET level 3 with Guy I wanted to say what a fantastic learning experience this was and that I would recommend it to anyone keen to progress their wine knowledge! The zoom sessions worked brilliantly, backed up with lots of great learning techniques and revision aids which really helped to embed the knowledge. The way Guy delivered the group sessions was very clear and efficient and the 1:1s later on really helped to prepare for the exam. It has been one of the most rewarding and enjoyable things I’ve ever done and I think the Laithwaites wine school has got the delivery of these courses spot on.

I recently did the WSET Level 1 course with Laithwaite's. Due to the ongoing Covid-19 restrictions it was done using video conference technology but still worked very well. Interaction with the tutor (Guy) was great, although the setup necessarily limits the cross-talk interaction between students. It was really interesting to learn more about the art or wine making and the science that impacts the flavours and aromas of wines. Highly recommended course and a highly recommended provided. I think it will not be too long before my wife and I are back for level 2.

I did this course virtually with Guy at the end of 2020. Guy is an amazing teacher and really took care of the 15 students in the class. It was really participative as if we were face to face, Guy shared with us lots of materials to study and prepare for the WSET exam. Class includes 40 samples of wine which is the best to study with the level 2 of WSET. I thoroughly recommend WSET 2 with Laithwaite.
