Bought an hour on groupon, best groupon deal I have ever bought, Duncan is an amazing instructor, the hour flew by( no pun intended) it was a full 737 cockpit! You get so engrossed in what you are doing it's incredible, will be back at some point for another go, gotta nail the landing at madeira! If you ever fancied a go don't hesitate, but beware, you can get hooked, just amazing

Perfect from start to finish. Duncan certainly knows his stuff but also knows how to make you feel at ease. Booked as a birthday present for my husband and he really enjoyed the experience. I even had a go myself and because Duncan was so patient managed to land the plane without incident. Really nice new set up as they have only just moved to these premises. Would definitely do again and highly recommend to anyone who's thinking of booking. We will definitely be going again.

Had an amazing time after getting a voucher for a 120 min flight. Duncan was amazing and made the experience even better! the place was a little shed behind a pub and although looks doubtful, you will be overly surprised when entering, "it's amazing what you find in the shed" XD. I was able to choose multiple locations to take off and land from and do pretty much anything I wanted. Duncan was a great laugh and an amazing instructor. Absolutely fantastic time, you really get the sense you are flying, Duncan who guided me was brilliant and a very fun person to be around, and explained things in easy to understand language. We could literally go anywhere any airport night or day and in any weather. The simulator is very detailed using real parts from 737 definitely coming back for another go. Would highly recommend if you have an interest in becoming an Airline Pilot.

Had an amazing time the hour went so quick. They were so welcoming and explained everything so well. It felt like I was in the actual flight deck of a 737, with the authentic displays and real 737 controls you can easily forget that your sat in a building on the ground. Will definitely be going back just need to work out when, it was fun as well as informative and I would highly recommend to anyone with an interest in aviation!

Great experience with a very patient Duncan guiding us through the flight characteristics of the Boeing. As a private pilot I always wanted to try flying a big jet and this is the only way I was ever going to do it. Much more tricky than I thought so I will be going back for more until I get it right. Duncan can make it. 😁 as easy or difficult as you like so if you have no experience or actually fly one he will help you though and make it fun. Highly recommended.

Came here with a more experienced friend to have our first 737 simulator experience and it was outstanding to say the least. Duncan is informative, experienced, helpful, fun and relaxed which I think makes him the perfect host and he made the experience very fun. He gave us really good advice on what we could do with our time, guided us for approaches/landings in times where we needed help and was really patient at times where I struggled or couldn't find certain controls. As for the simulator, it is spectacular. It looks well built with obvious care and passion put into it. The auto-throttle moves the actual throttle quadrant, the trim wheels spin if you trim using the yoke trim, the seats vibrate to give a more immersive feel and the sound is loud and clean. Everything you would expect from a 737 simulator. I'd definitely recommend checking this place out if your interested in aviation or flying airliners.

Best flight sim I've been to! Technically very accurate and a really knowledgeable instructor, who knows the ins and outs and is one of the most friendly people Ive ever seen. Having received a voucher as a gift from my wife almost three years ago, following COVID I finally managed to arrange a session at Velocity Flight Training with Duncan. All I can say is if anyone has wanted to give a flight sim a try, Velocity should be your first port of call. Great location, fantastic simulator and Duncan was welcoming, incredibly helpful and very quick to gauge the guidance and help I needed in order to have an amazing experience. I shall certainly be returning for further sessions.

My friend and I have now had 2 hr sessions in the sim with Duncan, and they are absolutely spot on. Dunc is an excellent and thorough instructor with a vast wealth of knowledge and has been a massive help with my ATPLs. Can't recommend him enough to anyone wanting quality sim time and instructing!

Excellent. Our daughter wanted to try out the simulator for her birthday. She really enjoyed it & it's totally not what we or she expected. The premises really is 'tardis' like. When you think you've arrived in the pub car park, look around and think that you're totally in the wrong place, you're not, you've actually arrived. It was so good that we've booked to go again. You can try your hand at flying and even land at any airport of your choosing. The chap who runs it is very friendly and knowledgeable too. And then, obviously not before, once you've finished you can pop in the pub for a pint or a bite to eat.

Brilliant experience, my other half was the 1st to use thier new facility in churchum, and i had the added bonus of being a passenger Truley a great experience for both flyer and passenger, mind you flying to clacton i could of done without lol. Dunc is an absolute legend! He basically taught me how to fly again after finishing my pilot training nearly 3 years ago. He's very knowledgable about the 737 & A320, and different airline SOPs. The sim is in a great location and at a very good price. I couldn't recommend him more.

This place is absolutely incredible, Duncan is a great guy who obviously has lots and lots of experience in this field and is more than happy to share his wisdom with you. The Simulator he has designed, built and developed himself is a really special bit of kit… the flying experience is tremendous and feels very very real! Duncan is very helpful and his laid back approach to running this business is just perfect. I will be returning to have a go at landing in Paro…. Such a cool Christmas present. Duncan was amazing at explaining everything from start to finish. My only negative was I wish I had longer. After practicing at East Midlands (and landing it bang in the middle of the runway I might add), I popped over to Vegas where Duncan took us for a cruise down the Strip, I flew past the Pyramids and just about got it on the runway at Kai Tak in Hong Kong. Highly recommended!!!

Duncan at Velocity Flight Training is 100% customer focused. His primary mission is to make your flight simulator experience the best it can be. Add in that he can do that at the same time as handling all the controls you can’t (in my case most of them!) and keep up a constant flow of guidance, interesting facts and friendly conversation, and you have a first class and fun experience. He is happy and more than able to set you up to land or take off from just about any airport in the world a 737 can land at (I covered East Midlands, Gibraltar, Innsbruck, Aota Valley (Italy), Rio de Jeneiro and Hong Kong). He also trains commercial pilots on the simulator to support them passing tests. I highly recommend this company.
