When we arrived, we were greeted by Laura and her beaming smile. She could not have been more helpful and represented herself, and your company, exceptionally. Matt happily took our banter (and our money!) in good humour, whilst remaining professional and polite. Both are an absolute credit to you and I hope you appreciate them.

Visited the shop today. What a brilliant service, all the staff were very helpful and I was served by a very polite young man called Jack. Uniform shopping is usually a nightmare but Steady School Wear made it a pleasure! Thank you for helping me kit my children out in such a lovely friendly and professional environment.

Absolutely excellent staff in this shop! All the correct Covid-19 guidelines are being followed properly, i felt at ease and extremely safe in here!! The shop is fully stocked up and had everything i needed even due to the global pandemic, i am hugely impressed with the store. Also the quality and standard of the uniform is just brilliant! The staff are so helpful and welcoming and really help you find what you need. Outstanding shop, staff and products!!!

I visited the shop a few days ago to get my nephews uniform sorted as supermarkets have recently had low stock meaning I’ve had nothing but trouble elsewhere! however.. the staff on shift went above and beyond to ensure me and my nephew was Happy. Ellie B our helper was nothing but polite and helpful, couldn’t of done any more then she did to help us, a real credit to the team. Overall excellent shopping experience and good quality buys!

Friendly staff and plenty of stock. However, bought 3 pairs of trousers for my son. Returned one pair as they didn't put the school label on them. Then found a second pair were the wrong size (wrong size trousers, right size on package ). Would recommend checking all clothes fully before leaving the store.

Well what can I say. I had been having trouble getting trousers for my son as supermarkets have got nothing left and he is extremely tall. I went into Steadyschoolwear and they have a Social distancing system which is second to none. The lady on door was very pro active and communicated well. I’m highly impressed. Well done guys. I had a really good experience of using steady school wear for the first time. My son is starting malet lambert secondary school in September and I was unsure on everything that I needed to purchase for him, but Meg really helped me with everything. She went out of her way, above and beyond to find me different sizes of clothing for my son to try on as her is in between sizes so it wasn’t as straight forward. Meg couldn’t do enough for us and was really helpful and patient with us. I will happily go back to steady school wear again in the future to purchase more items that I need for my son. They are working under pre-school Covid pressure there, so kudos to the staff for dealling with hoards of parents. One way system, social distancing and one adult at a time or adult with child allowed. I owe the biggest thanks to the patient young woman who served me. I didn't have my teen son with me and had measured him with a metal measuring tape. So I kept going 'my twangy tape said his shoulders were 40. She managed to get me all the right sizes (they fit thank goodness), despite me being measurement challenged.

Wow! so much better quality than my previous supplier and cheaper Washed lovely. A really good fit on my daughter. You can buy all your uniform from here along with PE Kit. 10 out of 10 would highly recommend.

We have used Steady School Wear for my daughter's school uniform for a couple of years now. The staff have always been helpful and friendly and we have always managed to walk away with what we went in for - in September last year they even trawled through their stock room to find the last two summer tops for my daughter's school, even though she wouldn't need them until April! My daughter is extremely fussy about her school skirts and very difficult to fit with being tall and slim, but she had no problem at all finding two that she liked and that fit her perfectly. I will also be looking to go to their sister company, AP Workwear, to kit out my office team with uniform tops in the near future. I would highly recommend them for anything school or work-related.

Brilliant service by joe w very nice young man did everything he could to make me happy as a customer unlucky for him I wasn't that happy only because I couldn't get the right size trousers for my son they were 2 sizes too big and the company that supplies them won't have any in at that size 26/26 for at least 6/8 months even though most year 7 students are small in height coming from primary which for me came as a shock but Joe w shown compassion and empathy and couldn't be more sorry which wasn't his fault anyway it is what it is even though I didn't get what I needed the customer service was 100% so thankyou joe w and il see you again very soon.

Far too few staff on at a very busy time. Huge queues and very hot in the shop. Only one till working. Definitely need bigger premises. Younger staff were as helpful as they could be but it was absolutely manic and almost impossible to find what you wanted because there isn't enough room for everyone to be there at the same time.

This is the second year I have been shopping at steady schoolwear , i dread going uniform shopping its so stressful, as i have 3 children, my daughter is Autistic and in a wheelchair, she struggles with waiting, small spaces, noise and lots of people , Usually a young man offers his help , but when we went in this time its been extended to the other room, which is great more space, i asked the lady on the desk if there was another changing room as it was totally full , and my daughter was struggling, a young woman named Ellie took it upon herself to help me , she opened the side door for me to get the wheelchair in and let us use the changing room , she said if i needed anything or any help just to ask her , which i did and she was happy to help , she helped us from start 2 finish , adding the badge to the trousers, she couldnt of done anything more to help us, so A BIG THANK YOU ELLIE for being so caring and helpful you made it so much easier for us all.😁

My Grand Children go to Hedon Primary as such are directed to Steady schoolwear the staff made sorting the uniforms for them both so easy nothing was too much trouble even though the shop was busy - uniforms wash and wear well also great value for money - I know we will be back again when the kids grow out of this years uniform

No wheelchair ramp, couldn't get in the shop at all. The manager took us in the work wear side of the ship but still couldn't get in the uniform side though, he brought uniform in to us for my children to try on, only downside is not much choice only what he brought through.
