Great university in Northeast part of UK, also not far from York and Leeds. Lovely atmosphere and welcoming for variety nationality. Living cost in this city is cheaper than other.

I started my master’s Degree in Artificial Intelligence and Data Science in September 2021. I love how involved everyone is with each other. you grow there and there are good facilities like The Brynmor Jones Library. For International students I must say this is affordable and well-known university

The University has helped me so much. My lecturers have given me so much support and I absolutely love the old red brick buildings. I wouldn't choose to go anywhere else because everyone I've met in Hull are just lovely. I love everyone in my society, I've made friends for life and the University has given me so many memories that I'm going to cherish forever.

I study here modern facilities for studying and to live. I also use campus facilities to stay fit and active. I play footsal indoors and 7 aside games on turf outside at least 4 times a week. Place to go.

My Daughter She is Dietitian & Nutritionist is there for further higher education and specialising. We had a fantastic Applicant Day visit. An excellent campus and a great welcome from the Geography Department led to my son accepting his offer as his firm choice. He can't wait to get there, A levels permitting! He has also been allocated his first choice accommodation. Thank you Hull.

A beautiful campus and great library with stunning views - what inspiring and nurturing environment to study and live in. My daughter is now in her third year here and has enjoyed her studies and living in Hull very much so far. A definite bonus is the excellent provision of student accommodation, either through the university or through specialised estate agents, which takes a lot of worries from students and parents away. - Updating on 9 th September 2021: Thank you to the University of Hull for an unforgettable Graduation Ceremony! It was a very emotional and heartfelt event for so many and the graduates were so very happy - and, of course, their parents - to be able to have their big celebration in person after so much time in Covid isolation! A huge thanks to all, who organised it and saw it through to the tiniest detail. All remarked also, how respectful the often complicated names of the students were pronounced. Hull University really is an academic but also a family community locally, nationally and internationally! Wherever we will be, we carry it in our hearts!

I am currently a PhD student at Hull and the environment is wonderful. Staff are very supportive and you can see that the university has created a space specifically designed to accommodate postgraduate students e.g. the Graduate school and a lounge for PhD students in the newly refurbished library. The university has further tried to accommodate students who don't live in Hull through Easter and Summer school PGTS courses which take place in a week of intense study. I attended the 2014 Easter school and PhD students attending were particularly welcomed with a complimentary lunch, which also provided an opportunity to meet other students and discuss the modules offered. The university furthermore encourages taking part in conference presentations and has funding allocated for approved expenses related to conference papers. Overall the experience has been excellent!

I graduated from Hull University in 1982 and I am very proud to see the changes both for student accomodation provision as well as all the refurbishment of the well respected Brynmore Jones Library. My daughter , who is in turn studying at Hull University since last year, and I shall hopefully be proudly showing my brother ,President of the English Speaking Union in MAURITIUS, round the library and the Campus.
