Just had a first free trial Karate lesson for my son. He liked it, so has signed up. Other people there seemed to be enjoying the session. I'd have preferred for someone to have been there specifically to greet new members as I was in direct contact with someone at Blackwell, arranging a session for a brand new 8 year old member, but no-one was there to greet and show him where to go. I appreciate the place isn't exactly a maze, but it would've been amazing to have had that immediate contact. Very nice facility, friendly staff, so I'm happy overall, I just think one more bit of service would've made it perfect. Thanks

Our daughter has been training with Blackwell Academy since she was 3. From our taster session to completing the junior syllabus today, she has thoroughly enjoyed it. If you're looking for a sport that encourages respect for self and others, builds confidence, promotes a team ethic and positive attitude, give Blackwell Academy a try. There are a variety of instructors, each bringing a unique approach to the class at a good selection of venues, and varied times across the week, meaning that there is a class for everyone. We're excited to see where her journey goes with Blackwell. Thank you to all.

Train here when I work in the area. Really great gym. Small but no less well organised and perfectly selected machines to ensure you get a proper workout not a 'decent' one. Highly recommend. Plus proper music on. Ha
