I love sending my little boy to Childrens Corner Valley View, they do an amazing job! He’s always happy on arrival at nursery and always smiling when he comes out. The girls are so lovely and you can tell they genuinely care for the children. The nursery itself is lovely lots of space to play, lots of windows to see outside and they outdoor play area is great. 10/10 from us xx

All three of my children have gone to this fantastic nursery. When I started my journey as working parent I had major Mum guilt as to leaving my child to go to work. 10 years and 3 children later I feel that Children's Corner has enhanced my children's lives and been an important factor in the smooth and confident transition to school. All the staff and the owner Lesley have gone over and above to care for not only our children but our whole family when we've been through difficult times. I recommend this nursey over and over and am a little bit sad that our family's nursery journey is over. I couldn't have hoped for a better place to send me children. Thank you.x

We've had 3 children within the nursery, out of school and holiday clubs for the last 9 years. The team running the nursery are experienced and loving, there are always different activities and the nursery food quality is excellent. More recently the team have been able to offer more ad hoc flexibility which has worked really well. If you're looking for a nursery in the area, we would recommend you check them out

We couldn't be happier with our choice of nursery for our son. The team at Valley View are helpful, kind and highly competent. The facilities are great, with lots of toys and different areas to play. We really notice the impact of nursery each week on our son's development, picking up new words, songs, skills and more! Communication via an app is exemplary, with regular notifications about his activities & food, as well as photos, updates on his development, and ideas about how we can extend his learning at home. We've been really impressed by the quality of the food. Our son has special dietary requirements, and these were accommodated without hesitation, and he receives a really nutritious, balanced diet each day. Our son was a Covid baby, and none of our family live locally, so it's felt like a huge life-line having the support of nursery during the various lockdowns. It's also been a massive relief knowing he was brilliantly and safely socialised while the rest of us were in isolation! The Valley View team deserve huge kudos for keeping nursery open during *such* a dificult period. Thank you to all at Valley View. We would recommend this nursery in a heartbeat.

Our 12month old son recently started at Valley View Children's Corner, after visiting the nursery many months ago it seems to have a lovely welcoming feel about it and many positives including being outstanding with Ofsted. Our son had some transition visits, staff were very supportive and gave you time to ask questions as well as taking note of everything they needed. Our son has completed 4 full days at nursery and although we were worried about his eating habits and sleeping because he's breastfed, he has adapted extremely well with the dedicated supportive staff and has been eating meals and sleeping even in a bouncer which he would never do at home! The staff have been willing to tell me how he is if I've rung up to ask which is really reassuring. The nursery is clean and bright, with lots of play opportunities for our son to have as well as being able to socialise with peers of his age and the older children at times. We also liked the fact they promoted Makaton and provide home cooked meals and offer hair cutting and shoe fitting services. So far so good with our experience of Valley View and would recommend, we hope that our son will continue to enjoy his time at nursery and develop well with great staff and opportunities provided for him.

Lovely nursery, great staff and both of my children have been happy here. Would not hesitate in recommending! Also the two 1-star reviews lower down this feed - Lesley Dawson is the name of the owner, so as if these are genuine! Please don’t be fooled by what is clearly a campaign - how many one-star reviews in such a short space of time?!?

My children have attended this nursery setting for 6.5 years, firstly in the nursery, now attending after school club. I have always found the staff to be flexible, helpful and very child oriented. They listen to feedback and I have always felt my children to be in safe hands.

My son has been coming to children's corner since he was 10 month old, the staff are very friendly and made me feel so comfortable leaving my pride and joy with them.
