We joined the club end of May and both my children were made to feel welcome and a part of the family from the moment they stepped in. The instructors are strict but kind, and always teach in a structured but fun way. We are loving our karate journey so far and can't wait to learn and make more friends.

I had always thought of training in Karate but never actually had the courage to, until I joined Kazokudai that is. The atmosphere is fantastic, everyone joins in and we all have a brilliant time. Sensei is amazing and very patient and approachable if you have questions. I highly recommend trying it!

Sensei Bianca makes this a great place for our kids, 11 and 7, to learn discipline, stay fit and increase confidence! She is also a lovely, helpful person who guides us through the registrations etc and puts on loads of events for the kids outside of normal training which you can do as much or as little as you wish. My 6 year old daughter started this session over zoom in the first lock down. She immediately took to Sensai Bianca and Senpai Cyra and began enjoying weekly sessions. She joined live lessons last year and they have been incredible for her confidence and general fitness. She is passionate about Karate and loves every session she comes to. I cannot recommend these classes enough. They are fun and exciting, teach discipline and the importance of perseverance and working hard to attain good things.

This is an awesome club with lots of different groups. I enjoy the ladies group as well as the mixed group. They do kids classes too. I like the variation of exercise in each class and how it can be adapted to suit everyone's need. The sensei is great at motivating us all and making exercise fun. Really welcoming friendly group with awesome coaches. Would definitely recommend for all ages

My 7 year old daughter started with Kazokudai Karate in 2021 and loves it! As a parent, I have noticed her confidence increasing and she’s always excited for class. Sensei Bianca and Senpai Cyra make the classes fun but also promote good discipline. Can’t recommend these classes enough for children! Having seen how great the club was, I have recently started adult classes myself and am really enjoying it!

Really wish I'd been able to find Kazokudai Karate many years before I did. Sensei Bianca understands exactly how to train and get the best from each student on an individual basis and not just a generic way of teaching everyone. Karate has also helped my mental health so much, there's days where the thought of going out at all is too much to deal with but pushing yourself to go training always makes you feel after. It's a real family environment, we all want to help each other as much as possible and the bond created with people there is hard to replicate anywhere else. Best thing I've ever done and can't recommend anybody enough to give it a try, as I know they wouldn't regret it

My son (age 6) has been going to Kazokudai Karate for over a year. He has loved every minute of it. Sensei Bianca and Senpai Kyra are amazing. They are very disciplined while also being incredibly patient with the children. They have their own beautiful dojo which is very clean and well kept. They go above and beyond to create a safe, engaging and fun space for the children to learn the craft of karate. I couldn’t recommend this Karate school enough.

Our club is affiliated to the JKA, a credible Shotokan karate organisation. You have to work hard, belts are not just handed out and you are expected to demonstrate progress. However you will definitely have fun and enjoy your training. We have a very diverse group of members of all ages, genders & grades. There are separate classes specifically geared towards children, women and men, as well as mixed sessions. If you feel nervous about trying karate, you’ll be amazed at how much your confidence can improve and how good you will become with training. We do not just blindly do pretty techniques against thin air, there is good opportunity for exercises like pad work, resistance training, kata application etc to ensure your techniques are effective. Our instructor is JKA 4th Dan with numerous competition achievements at international level, we are very fortunate to have such an accomplished instructor in the Midlands!
