As a pupil of this school many many years ( back 1968-1971) i have a very fond memory of this school. As i child arrived in this country from India,( in 1968) with little knowledge of spoken English language. We were group of 30 Indian pupils arrived at this school. I remember our first day we were shy and scared , but we were warmly welcome into the new environment. I have many fond memories of the school. The teachers and pupils were very friendly, kind and warm hearted. Some of the teacher i remember well to this day, this include, Miss Moore( Head Teacher), Miss Watson( my class teacher) who helped us greatly to read and write English. Other teachers were Mr. Jones- great Art teacher, Mr Symons, Mr. Clarke, Miss Keane. Mrs. Ladden. My brothers and sister we all attended this great school back in 1968-1973 ,and all have fond memories of happy carefree days . i left the school in June 1971 and felt sad that time had come to leave this place. I hope one day i can come and visit this place- wonderful memories .
