This day nursery looked after our two kids aged 5 and 10 during their school holidays. We cannot think of any issues with the service provided by them. All the carers were very professional and always provided us with a feedback about the child at the end of the day. Kids had a good combination of indoor and outdoor activities which they really enjoyed. We did not have any worries about our kids safely in this place and we would recommend this day nursery to anyone who is looking for child care.

I have 3 daughter's and they have been going to Millstone Day Nursery since 2014 ..I use the After School and Holiday Care that they provide. I have to say the service they provide is very much appreciated I wouldn't be without them. The staff are fantastic and friendly and are always willing to help. I would definitely recommend Millstone Day Nursery to family and friends.

My children attended this nursery from 6 months old until the eldest was 10 (after school club). This nursery (and it’s staff) were warm and inviting and nothing was ever too much trouble. My eldest developed a serious medical condition during her time at the nursery and the staff were more then willing to attend the training required and I never had an issue with the duty of care that they provided during her time there! The pick up service from school was invaluable to us as both my husband and I work full time in the centre of town, so knowing that the children were picked up from school and brought back to nursery where it was easy for us to pick them up from, at the end of the day, was a huge weight off our shoulders. I would strongly recommend Millstone Nursery to anyone and, in fact, we did to one of our colleagues who uses their after school facility.

I would highly recommend Millstone Day Nursery. Both of my children were attending nursery and then - after-school and holiday club (still attending holiday club). It is a great, friendly and safe place with tons of entertainment for my children and a very reliable service for me. As for a single mother high quality and reliable childcare is a key to manage daily life, Millstone Day nursery is a perfect fit. Without a doubt I know, that my children are collected from school and more than happy to spend time at after-school care, while I am at work.

Having moved to the UK from a different country, I was very cautious about selecting a nursery for my son. I made it a point to go and view nurseries myself before deciding a safe place suitable for him. I also sent him for pre-visits before finalizing on Millstone. What attracted me the most was the safety of the place, and the number of carers for each play room. There are named separate rooms for each age group cared by well trained staff. I am happy I chose this place for my son, as he settled in really quick. Some of the things that I would like to point out as a parent are: 1) the cleanliness and hygiene (smells very pleasant and looks very clean and tidy even at the end of the day) 2) The activities they involve the kids in are tailored to the development of each child. They even give rewards to the kids in the form of certificates which is a very good gesture. 3) No screen time(this is something where Millstone stood out compared to the other places I visited) 4) CCTV in their office(every corner is monitored well) 5) Water area(The kids get to serve water themselves in glasses, teaching them become independent) 6) Different kinds of play, the children don't get bored. My son goes for 9 hours, and doesn't complain. 7) They write down their observations of the child's learning and development depending on the activities involved and give it to the parent to read and sign, which is a heart warming thing for me as a person. I get to read about how he has settled in well. 8) They also have school pick up and drop off service which I am sure I will be using once her stars going to school! Overall, I can be at peace at work because I know my son is in safe hands, and they look after him with just as much affection and care as I would do. I highly recommend Millstone Day Nursery. From the moment my little one joined this nursery the welcoming team have shown an abundance of support and encouragement, their friendly professional staff go above an beyond to meet your child’s needs. Their hard work and dedication is second to none and nothing is too much trouble, my child's ongoing development is a credit to this. I would like to sincerely thank the whole nursery team for their time and patience over the years. Don't listen to the couple of 'bad' reviews below!!! Whilst the rooms may not have countless windows, there is ample air conditioning, and the children frequently go outside to use their big outdoor space! A rare find in a city!

Our son has been attending Millstone since he was 9 months old and since he has started school he attends the holiday care club. I can only heap praise on the staff and facilities they provide, my son loves the food cooked by the chef. They organise trips each week for the kids to go on and he looks forward to going on them. If your considering sending your child millstone they will be looked after and you will have peace of mind as they do an amazing job. Keep up the good work Jim and all the staff

My youngest son - now three, attended this nursery for a while at 8 weeks old and has attended again now for the past year and a half. The staff are amazing and work with you with any concerns you have about child or anything you and don't want doing and actually listen to you when you talk to them. The rooms are always cleaned thoroughly - having seen them being cleaned and the carpets quite often. The staff are extremely friendly and take great care of your children and actually take an interest in them. My son has formed a lovely bond with a few of the ladies here and is really coming out of himself. The have assisted greatly with potty training and weaning off of nap times too and again as I said worked with me on this. The outside play area may not be huge but I do think allowances have to be made for this with it being a city centre location at a very affordable price I think any specific outdoor play area is a plus! Either way my son loves his outdoor time there with all the toys etc they have. As a rule my son is a pest to eat but every meal that they cook for him here he eats all up and tells me about it on the way home so it's a thumbs up for the food from Jetson. My son will be attending here still with his 30 hours free childcare instead of a mainstream school from September as I personally think they're doing a great job. Firstly, i would like to say that i would definately recommend Millstone Day Nursery to anyone and everyone who has a need with childcare. My experience with them over a 12 year period has been nothing but amazing and they have played a valuable part in all my childrens lives, especially my 7 year old who has been diagnosed with Autism. The Nursery have gone and continue to go beyond the usual typical requirements in order to cater for my son (and previous children) and believe that this does not happen at every Nursery. Ultimately the Nursery is a Business but the service provided goes beyond that due to the professionalism of all the staff there. I have had nothing but support, understanding and reassurance from everyone at Millstone Day Nursery and I couldn’t thank them enough for all their efforts. To me, I couldn’t do the job that they do but very grateful that they do the job well, with passion and enthusiasm. I have 9 year old daughter who have been with Millstone since she was 4 years old. They helping me with school runs using mini buses. My daughter loves do Just dance there and loads of crafts activities. The staff have supported me over the these years. Place is safe and children are happy being there!

Our 2 grandchildren whom we have adopted have been attending millstone for over 2 years .They have blossomed under the care of the fabulous staff & we feel they have been given a strong foundation for when they start school in September.Jim/Julie & susan have been of tremendous help to us as a family & are always helpful & approachable .All round fantastic place would highly recommend.
