The club is a positive place to be. My son trains 3 times a week and I cannot praise them enough. He enjoys every aspect and has been able to grow and achieve with the wonderful support of Peter and all the Sensei's. Learning lifelong skills making friends and feeling like they belong to a martial arts family were everyone is aaccepted. Cannot praise the club enough if you dont believe me go see for yourselves!!!!

Both my son and daughter attend, and absolutely love it. The teachers are friendly and approachable and have an excellent way of teaching kids jujitsu. Tried other clubs before joining this one and none of them compare. If you are looking for a welcoming, safe, professional and fun club to teach yourself or your children you couldn’t ask for anywhere better.

My daughter attended South Sefton Ju Jitsu & Kobudo for several years. Something I didn’t think she would ever stick at; she proved me wrong! She gained so much confidence attending the classes along with a lot of self discipline, which has helped her through senior school years. Peter is an amazing tutor and is very fair with the children, whilst being a kind and compassionate friend. Although classes were hard work there were also lots of laughs as the classes were made enjoyable and social. I would highly recommend South Sefton Ju Jitsu & Kobudo to anyone looking to enrol their child in this sport. Well done Peter and the team 👏🏻

SSJJKA is a brilliant club and highly recommended by myself and my wife. We joined together a number of years ago and have so far reached black belt level. Sensei Peter is a great teacher and makes you feel welcome and at ease - as do the other senseis, who freely share their knowledge to help you along. Recommended! My son has been going to Jujitsu and Kobudo since May. He's enjoying and likes the class. Peter and his group are professional, though one sensei was a bit strict with my son and once I talked with Peter; he kindly tried to sort it out. Peter always reply to the messages immediately and is very helpful and supportive. If I gave 4 stars from 5 just because I think is almost expensive and my son got upset from a sensei. In general I'm happy with this Academy.

I was made very welcome by Sensei, the instructors and all students as soon as I walked into SSJJKA in 2017 and will be taking my black belt grading in 2 months thanks to their guidance and training since then. Excellent facilities and equipment and a real friendly, family feel to the place. I've moved out of area since but still make the drive twice a week as there's nowhere else I'd rather go. Highly recommended.

Our Son has been attending SSJJKA since he was 4 years old. He is now 8 and two tabs away from hia jnr black belt. He has grown in confidence, made great friends and loves attending classes. Sensei Peter has been fantastic and we would highly recommend the club.

Fantastic club with brilliant leadership and staff, really welcoming but focused environment with great facilities. Sensei and other leaders are great with the kids and my son has gained loads of confidence and resilience.

This is an academy that I have the pleasure to be involved with, I enjoy my time at “SSJJKA”, - being one of 4 instructors I’m continuing to gain status and great purpose within the club. I’m now trained up to third Dan standard Ju -Jitsu and I’m also an Assistant Technical Executive Officer. It’s a proud thing to be in such position with friends and family alike. Sensei, - Master Peter C’Ailceta, will welcome any student with open arms, and guide them through full and expert tuition within the DO-JO! Be assured you will be looked after. Really good friendly club. Myself and my child trained at the club under Sensei Peter and his team. Always a good environment and classes full of fun for all ages. You have a choice of Ju Jitsu, Sport Nunchaku an can learn defence against weapons. I believe every child needs to be learning these skills from a young age to keep them safe in the future. A great boost for your confidence and I would highly recommend to all!

A relaxed club, with a knowledgable sensei. When I left for uni and returned to the city I couldn't think of any other jujitsu club I would rather train at. Recently obtained my blackbelt and striving for 2nd Dan blackbelt. I would recommend.

My six year old son tried all kinds of out of school activities like football etc but just didn't enjoy them. Then I brought him to jujitsu and he absolutely loves it!! He even asks to do extra classes! He's been going now coming up to a year ! Sensei is fantastic with the children I definately reccomend this academy.

I cannot recommend this academy highly enough. I have been training there since 2010. Renshi Peter goes out of his way to ensure you are welcome no matter how old or capable you are. You are never just a student at SSJJKA - you are considered part of the family. This is a first class environment to learn and grow.
