Our 11 year old son has been a student of John’s for around 2 years and in this time he has improved significantly. John supported him tuition with the leading up to his musical aptitude test, which he secured a musical scholarship placement in the school of his choice. John has been teaching my daughter Yelina piano for over 18 months now and she has made huge improvements under his teaching, even leading to her choosing music as a GCSE at school due to this. John is professional, talented and friendly, with a wonderful teaching style. My son is also now taught guitar by him and he has a wonderful way with Corey, who often struggles to learn and get to know people. He trusted John very quickly and John has a great way of engaging him in his learning. I would highly recommend John to anyone looking for a music teacher.

Our son is now playing just over 1.5 years with John. He took him on board when Oliver was 5.5 years old. The two of them have a special relationship. The lessons are always well balanced and fun. He is now preparing for grade 2. John is an amazing teacher, I couldn't recommend him enough.

Our son Nathan is 12 & started lessons with John about 8 weeks ago. John invited us both in and said I could stay and watch if I wanted. Nathan is improving week by week , but more to the point he enjoys his lessons. John is patient, professional & has a calming demeanour. John is been a good teacher and mentor . Under John’s supervision Jonathan has completed his Grade 5 piano exam and is now working towards his Grade 6 piano and Grade 5 . Jonathan is comfortable to learn with John.
