This is probably one of the best Aikido clubs in London, suitable for all ages and all abilities. The friendly atmosphere, diversity, quality of teaching is second to none. If you want to improve your health, confidence, learn self-defence and also find great friends - this is your place!

I highly recommend learning the mind, body and spirit art of Aikido at this dojo with this group. I started as a complete beginner with no previous martial art experience as a 40+ female so it’s not just for the young or for the boys! The teacher and the whole group are very welcoming, patient, and a fantastically diverse set of people that you will learn a lot from. Great exercise and the added bonus of some martial art skills - hopefully never needing to be used in real life, but also handy if you happen to fall off a quad bike and can roll to safety!

Great bunch of people, classes fun and very practical. A nice workout for the body and spirit, a real Team spirit with everyone helping your improvement. Amazing level of Aikido standard, one of the very few Aikido Dojos in London with a proper traditional Japanese Aikido lineage.

This is an excellent dojo. The sensei will offer training designed for your experience and abilities.
Aikido is a wholesome martial art which improves your fitness and flexibility as well as your ability to focus, relax and stay calm.
The members of this club are diverse and very nice. You’ll immediately feel welcome, no matter what is your age, gender or previous martial arts experience.
I look forward to the training every week, not only to practice Aikido but also to meet these genuinely nice people. Even after a stressful day I always feel good after training.

I live the classes here. The style is so dynamic and a good flow for advance students. The begins have a great advantage here as Aikido Wimbledon has great instructor supported by and advised by Mimro Sensei of Japan.

Great place to practice with a link to Aikido Hombu Dojo in Japan! Dedicated Sensei with impressive mastery and passion for the art of Aikido, lovely bunch of people attending, welcoming and accomodating vibe altogether. Highly recommended!

I love the atmosphere of this dojo. We have a lot of fun during training. At the same time, everyone's polite and eager to improve. The sensei (teacher) is genuinely supportive and encourages his students to keep trying whenever they struggle with a technique. I personally enjoy the training, because it takes my mind off of everyday life. Plus, I got some great advice on how to physically defend myself if I ever have to. I definitely recommend giving it a try.

Aikido Wimbledon has been LIFE CHANGING for me. It functions as a physical and mental outlet, offers a stable and community orientated hub to retreat to in times of chaos and instability in the world and it offers consistent and high level teaching rooted in reliable traditionally Japanese lineage of Aikido.
