The school is decent but my main problem is their rules and policies on hair. They have limited choices with hair. The school won't let you have dyed hair, shaved hair, etc. Yet, in many other schools, children can, which seems unfair. It doesn't allow the children at Brampton Manor to express themselves. It's not as if having different coloured hair affects your ability to learn.
Other than that, the school's pretty mid. It's definitely not astounding or astonishing like it seems on the outside.

I have read all the reviews here and I have to say that I don’t recognise the description of the school, especially those that are negative. The write ups appear to either come from the same person or a friendship group. The experience that they describe does not make sense. How can the atmosphere at the school be so toxic and year after year, the school makes the headlines. The only conclusion is that these are disgruntled individuals who the school rightly got rid off!

An excellent school, the best in this region. As a parent, I am so delighted that my child is attending such a well led and high achieving school and don’t have to pay thousands of pounds a year in a private school that won’t give my girl the same standard of education. This school really cares about the children and I couldn’t be happier. Keep up the good job.

This is a stunning school and some of the negative comments here must be from haters or people that really know the school. I have lived in this area for over 30 years and this school was regarded as the school from hell. Today, it is the pride of this community. It is not perfect (which organisation is), but credit where credit is due - Brampton is an excellent school that has brought good news to East Ham especially in the last 10 years. I salute all the teachers and staff. Please keep up the good work and don’t allow some of the ignorant and rubbish comments here to discourage you. We are all proud of what you are doing.

It was wonderful to see you on TV tonight. All these students working so hard to achieve their dreams. I'm not a teacher anymore because it was so disappointing to be working hard yourself and see it all crumble.. But you show it can be done and there are students, that carry the flame forwards. Thank you so much! That's so inspiring. I wish you God-speed for the future. And one of you the new prime minister? That sounds wonderful to me. Someone who has gone through thick and thin and knows what they're talking about. Welcome!!

Wow, i feel so proud to be a part of this school. I have been a teacher at the school for 7 years and live in Newham. This school has transformed the image of the community and the recent positive news about all the Oxbridge offers is so nice but didn’t just happen overnight. Brampton has been improving strongly since Dr Olukoshi became the principle. There is a good team spirit in the place and the staff just want the best for the students. I can go on and on about how good Brampton is but you come and find out yourself.

This is a school that has been transformed beyond recognition over a relatively short period of time. Brampton has been on an upward journey since the current headteacher Dr Olukashi joined the school in 2008. As a current teacher at the school, I have witnessed the huge change in the behaviour of the staff and students. You can see for yourself on the league tables how well the school is performing. This is because staff absence is a lot lower than it used to be and the quality of teaching has improved a lot. Since the school became an academy and opened the 6th form, things moved up a notch. Reading some of the negative comments on here made me to write this because they cannot truly be from people that really know the school - they are just false pure and simple. I also live in Newham and my neighbors and their friends that know that I work in Brampton desperately want their children to attend the school.

I am so pleased to read of the 41 Oxbridge offers and to hear that you don’t have any posh partners like Eton. It’s so wonderful to know that this has been achieved though the hard work of your students and teachers. More grease to your elbows. You have confirmed that inner city schools and schools in challenging areas can also achieve excellence. Last year you sent 20 students to Oxbridge too - more than the majority of expensive independent schools. This school is on point and is to be celebrated nationally and internationally. Well done to all of you.

The school is overrated too strict and i've seen a lot of people complaining about lack of resolving severe bullying issues in the school which is sad..

Academically Excelling School with great teaching and good facilities to accommodate most, if not all. The teachers and mentors really want you to excel.

I think this is a great school because of the way they present their food. Definitely 5 stars.

It's a secondary school, and I've only been there to watch my niece's school plays. I must say though it's not always easy getting them on the phone.
