We are huge fans of Bright Horizons Peckham Rye! The team are brilliant and I have total confidence leaving my child with them. Each day seem to be full of fun and creative activities.

Fancied a change from East London and this was a nice little stroll round a very well kept park. Not a massive park compared to say Victoria Park but a very nice autumnal walk.
It has a very nice common and a very busy cafe. There are lots of hidden spaces and a few pubs for a nice lunch near by.

Only on my 3rd visit did I realise just how big Peckham Rye Park is... the first two times, I'd turned up on a sunny day, put out a blanket and then stayed put, enjoying the sunshine. However, visiting during Autumn, I realised there's a little Japanese garden and an 'old' English garden that are pleasant for an afternoon stroll... The whole place is great for cycling, dog walks and conker collecting!

This is a great park. Visited for the first time today on a run it has some great paths, some nice gentle inclines and declines. The gardens are great and you can tell it well maintained. I wanted to give it 4.5 stars losing only half a star for the lack of a public water fountain because I was thirsty by the time I got there but it gains 5 stars because of the worst that useless two star review below me.
I will visit again. A nice route anyone looking for a fair long run is Deptford Park > Folkestone Gardens > Nunhead Cemetery > Peckham Rye Park > New Cross. From Surrey Quays (close to where I live) this round trip was just under 10 miles, you don't meet any killer hills and you get a good combination of everything for the urban runner.
But Peckham Rye Park - I've yet to find a better park in London. 5 stars.

Little gem hidden in London! Went for a bit of a lazy Sunday stroll and found within the park are a couple of well-kept formal gardens - an English walled garden with lovely roses and a Japanese garden by the small river that runs through the park along with a few ducks and ducklings. Would definitely return!

I've been visiting this park periodically for over 40 years. i've witnessed the park change in that time but enjoy visiting it just as much as i did as a child. A great family park for all seasons. great for walks, jogging, sport, walking the dog, It features an adventure park, swing park, outdoor gym, cafe, flower gardens, a pond with interesting wild life -something for everyone. Watch it come into its own during the summer time. yeap! we're talking about Peckham people.

A fantastic park. Beautiful, lots of space for games and parties, a pay and play bowling green for £3 an hour. The nicest park in London...
