I am really enjoying the course and like most of the people have said, yes, they do push you hard. But what is the point if you don’t get out of your comfort zone? I am so grateful I found this institution. Tutors participate in answering questions from students often so you are not alone. The layout of the course is fantastic and most importantly you get the option to pay in instalments. Proud to be a BAID student! Highly recommend

This is a great course. I am learning so much about the basics of interior design and will hopefully be able to transfer my knowledge into practice soon. Great start for someone who is completely new to interior design like myself. The course isn't easy but that makes it worth while. All tutors have been very helpful.

Studying with BAID, I have received initial knowledge and skills of interior design. I am happy with my course, the course materials (the theory and videos) and my tutor. Every time when I need a help with an assignment, I was just able to email to my tutor and she would always give me a quick helpful reply. I have chosen a home study course for myself because it suits me around my family but I would have definitely given a ago to study at the class if I had different circumstances.

I started the course(for Postgraduate Diploma) on February 2019 with the idea to change my career and finally to do something that I love. The assignments were very well organised and the tutors at the class very inspiring and passionate. I felt the absolute support and encouragement from the tutors (Rosy and Pavlina) and that made me to believe to myself and to try more and more. Pushing myself, I managed to finished the course in 11 months and in few weeks I will have my graduation and ready to start my new career. For any questions and explanation for the assignments the tutors (in person in the class) or (via email) were available to answer but also the school has available tutors which they helped me as well. For me BAID is the best option for someone to learn, change and elevate a new career path.

The assignments really useful for professional practice.I like the tutors' support via Student Forum or Email. All their advice are useful not only for fulfilling the assignment goals but also for the future profession. I enjoy the practical knowledge about interior materials and design codes. Although I like the online course, after submitting each assignment, the resulting procedure and opening next assignment is rather slow.

If you have a love for interior Design, I would recommend doing a course with the British Academy of Interior Design. I enrolled over a year ago in the Postgraduate Diploma Home Study course which is 15 assignments which can be over a nine months period. But you have up to 3 years to complete the course. As I work full-time the course is structured in a way that allows you to work at your own pace which is a great benefit and suits me. I was living in Cardiff at the time when I enrolled and would have struggled with the communicate to London for the classes every two weeks.They also do classes in Manchester but neither location suited me at the time. I then changed jobs and moved to London and decided that I would love to give the classroom a go. I had completed six assignments over a six month period without spending crazy hours working on assignments. I found the Online area for uploading assignments & getting your notes amazing. Very well laid out and easy to follow. There are plenty of notes available within the Online Learning Centre to learn computer programmes like AutoCAD & SketchUp which I was shocked I picked up very easy after a number of hours practice. The software is free to download, notes & videos are provided.This helps you greatly with your assignments then as well. There was extra notes from the PowerPoint presentations which are covered in class which I didn't have as a home study student which I found of great benefit. There is your own independent research required as well which is good and getting used to referencing any work. The support provided by the tutors and the staff are AMAZING. 1st class customer service for me as both as a Home Study & a Class Room student when I contact the office via phone or email. I can absolutely recommend the British Academy of Interior Design to anyone who is interested in interior design you can't go wrong.

As an option for further education I have found BAID fantastic! It is certainly not easy as it requires a lot of time to learn the skills needed but I feel I will be ready to go into industry confidently. Due the pandemic our lessons went online but they went further and were benevolent enough to provide the lessons again once it was safe to do so. As I said this is not for those looking for an easy qualification but more for those wanting to build a strong portfolio with guidance from the tutors (who themselves are professionals working in the industry) so I would recommend BAID for anyone who truly wants to be an interior designer! I read a lot of good and bad feedback about these courses, but in spite that I decided to try it, because to me they turned out to be the most acceptable in terms of both price and form of the course. Of course I faced with a lot of issues and challanges, which by the way always come when you go on a new path. You can choose other courses, but I am 100 percent sure, without some effort, no good results can be achieved, in any course. We live in an era of high competition, where we have to fight hard for space in our chosen field. Therefore, faced with all the difficulties encountered, I did not give up, even when it seemed like I wanted to quit everything. I am happy with my choice because my goal is already achievable by hand. For those who doubt, I can tell, it is possible to learn something just by watching Youtube, but will it be a good basis for fighting in real life? I don't think so. To anyone who still doubts, I want to say once again, only you can decide for yourself how much time and effort you want invest, for achieve your dream, but for me personally, obstacles bigger motivation than praise. Good luck with your choices and don't give up, we can all do it!

HND Class room student. Developed my skills in AutoCAD, SketchUp, technical drawings, rendering, sample boards. Tutors are very talented, feedback on assignment work very professional. Office support is super, really care about helping you. Can study at your own pace. No need to purchase additional books but you do need to purchase a drawing board and other drawing materials but they do provide a student card for discounts. Learning area is easy to use & navigate Excellent learning experience.

I would not say good or bad as it totally depends on yourself.But I can tell you a bit about the online course of HNC. What I love is that you can study at your own place and can complete anytime within 3 years and also they normally do ceremony at the end of the course. Also I have a student card too. Student forum is good but you have to keep checking if it got reply as it doesnt notify you. Tutor replying timing : I normally got reply sometime in the same day but sometime one day and if I email on Thus day I never got reply on Fri day and I sometime want to get everything on the weekend!! Marking : With first assignment,it was very quick,but for the second one it has already been 4 days and I got told it usually takes up to two weeks. Course material : Only online access and with USB which they give u.SO far up until now,I think mostly you have to do research on your own which I dont know it is good or not as I have never do online course. I do not have drawing skill,so it is a bit hard for me.Esp when it comes to free hand sketch and colouring. But it is not the end of the world if you give a bit extra time,you could do it well.Let say !!!! If you want to know anything you can comment down here I am very happy to share my experience. Overall I am still enjoying doing this.If you have other commitment ,this will best suit you.

Love the PG course I am on. After procrastinating for a number of years I finally enrolled in January and have not looked back. My tutor is so helpful.
