My daughters attend the capoeira kids class on Saturdays and love this art form. The teachers a super friendly catering for abilities of all level. They connect with the kids and parents so well, making each class feel like a family.

Really good environment and community! The classes are focused, yet diverse enough to cover a lot of ground. The teaching is very good and the coach takes time with the beginners to make sure they develop from the start the right habits/routines.

The venue is spacious and filled with all kinds of people in different levels, teacher Edgar is super warm and attentive to everyone including new faces like me. Very cool to be able to learn authentic capoeira from a real Mestre in friendly atmosphere!

Being a complete novice to capoeira, I really didn't know what to expect. But as soon as I arrived, Edgar the instructor, and everyone else there were so friendly. And being an avid gym goer already, I can confirm class was hard, but not so hard it scared me off. I will definitely be going again. Would recommend anyone to give it a try!

Love the Capoeira Academy UK classes! I've been doing Capoeira for many years and was super happy that I found this group when I moved to London. Bombril is a great teacher. His classes are systematic and fun. He teaches Capoeira moves and sequences in a sophisticated way. I'm always impressed by how he teaches complex sequences or acrobatics step by step and breaks them down into easy to understand small parts to support you learning them quickly. I very much appreciate how he explains how you can react in specific situations and what the underlying reasoning is. He also always provides different training options with varying difficulty levels to make his classes fit to students with zero to years of experience. In short, if you enjoy martial arts or like to stay fit using fun sports classes, this is the place you've been looking for :)

Capoeira high level… many students, different levels and skills. Perfect to start in a good capoeira team, to improve your capoeira, to learn new tricks or get flow. I first went to this class almost 2 years ago. I had not done any sports for the past 15 years and hated going to the gym, so I thought I'd find a more fun way to work out. The class was AMAZING! Not only Edgar Bombril delivered a fun and challenging class that everyone could adapt to their own level, but also the more advanced students were very helpful and made me feel really welcome (otherwise I know it can be overwhelming to step into something you had never done before)! Plus it was super inspiring to see them play all those intricate and awesome acrobatic moves! Of course every muscle of my body was aching for the following 2 days, but I kept going back because I was already hooked!

Are you interested in learning the Afro-Brazilian art of Capoeira?! If so, there is no better place than Capoeira Academy UK run by Professor Bombril. At Capoeira Academy you will be able to explore and experience the different sides to Capoeira which include martial arts, dance, music (singing and instruments) and gymnastics (acrobatics). I joined at the start of 2015 and I haven't looked back. Classes are available for Beginners to Advanced and not only will you increase your overall fitness whilst having fun but also meet a lot of new people! Hope to see you there!
