Reviews of Carpe Diem BJJ London
J. J.
TL/DR: I dropped in on Carpe Diem BJJ in London and had a very good experience. 10/10 would recommend.
I am currently in London for a work trip and needed a gym to drop in on. After some recommendations here and Google, I chose Carpe Diem BJJ. I was the only woman on the mat, which is something I am used to. But I am coming back after hiatus because of pregnancy, pelvic floor dysfunction, and ab separation. The instructor, Leo, took time to ask me before class if I had injuries and then even came by during techniques to help me with my positions since hip mobility is a huge issue for me right now. Leo even talked to me after to tell me his thoughts on my style and where he would have me focus, which was super awesome of him. I really appreciated the whole experience and highly recommend this gym to anyone passing through.

I had an amazing time visiting Carpe Diem BJJ London! Tsuyoshi is a great instructor and his students were both tough yet very technical rolls. The gym is in a convenient location and the space itself is clean while sporting a very unique/cool vibe to it. I highly recommend folks living in/visiting London to train here ASAP; can’t wait to visit again!

This isn't my regular gym but it's opposite my office so I've been and trained with them a few times and it really is an excellent school. The way Tsuyoshi structures the classes and delivers instruction is great and every time I've trained there I've come away feeling like I've really learnt something new. The coaches and the members are really friendly and welcoming, go roll with them.

I visited Carpe Diem, as I couldn’t get to my regular academy due to work. A lovely gym with a friendly and welcoming vibe. I found their style of BJJ to be very ‘flow’ in style, with a huge emphasis on technique. Because of this I would say this is a great academy for anyone but especially any women who wants to start BJJ. Thanks for the welcome guys. 🙏

I am a member of this BJJ club. Having training at a number of BJJ schools over a number of years I can say this is a great place to train, excellent tuition, good attitudes, facilities and a very clean gym. A welcoming team of friendly people, if your interested in starting then don't hesitate to try it out (first lesson is free). .

Great place to train. Chilled out, instructor is great and you train at your own pace...no merchandise forced down your throat like with some other schools. Location is great. Would recommend for all levels.

I have been training with Carpe Diem for over a year now. Amazing place with super positive vibes and friendly atmosphere. A lot of focus on technique at the white belt level and actual rolling at the all belt level. Much respect to Tsuyoshi and team who give it all to create such a great dojo!

A big open family of great guys. T is very focused on the minor details of movements and positioning which are imperative to beginner athletes. No egos or pressure to compete but the guys who do compete are well prepared and the medals are testament to that. Cleanest sporting facility I’ve trained at too.

We'll run sessions and you can have a free trial before you commit, I'll be back for more!

Been here a month now. Have only been to white belt classes so far. Laid back and technical approach to training. I've enjoyed it so much I've signed up for the full membership.
