The best academy at all. Dr Hamed is a hardworking and amazing doctor. He teaches the course completely by himself. The class is interactive and funny. You won’t feel boredom at all. Dr Hamed has his unique style of teaching that you will remember everything when you are in the real exam. The staff is friendly and very helpful to everyone. I address to all those who are still deciding on which academy for PLAB 2. STOP THINKING. Common stations run by Dr Hamed himself is THE PLACE to be. He is a gem of a person and an excellent teacher. He is so dedicated and hardworking that he makes sure nothing is missed in your preparations. I followed his advice word by word and by the Grace of God i cleared the exam in my 1st attempt with only 2 weeks after the course. He puts his heart and soul in those 15 days which makes his course priceless.

Dr. Hamed is an excellent teacher who himself teaches the course from morning to evening and is always full of energy (he drinks a lot of coffee). The best thing about his course is that he covers all possible scenarios and has the answer to all concerns a patient might have, even non-medical ones. His notes follow the same pattern as his lectures. Although they are very detailed, I found them easy enough to follow. Dr. Elmira teaches clinical methods. She is a great teacher and dresses well too. I was recommended Common Stations Academy by my seniors and I will recommend it to all my friends and my juniors.

When you think of PLAB2, Common Stations automatically pops up in your mind. The 15-day course including the examination sessions is more than enough to make you sail through the exam. Never have I seen so much dedication from a man! Dr Hamed takes more efforts for our exam than we do! The high-quality and updated notes, and of course, practice is key to success. What I really loved and found unique to CS is the revision workshop where Dr Elmira herself practises stations with you to boost your confidence and correct your mistakes. The email correspondence from the management is also very prompt. The academy literally becomes your second home when you practise there. His academy, Common Station Academy, is an example of well equipped institute, in which PLAB 2 candidate will find the right instruments and tools that exactly needed . A true example of that, when I booked my PLAB 2 exam I had only around 9 days to study, but guess what I cleared the exam because the classes atmosphere were perfect. Commonstations is an excellent academy and Dr.Hamed single handedly seems to runs the show. He is veryy organized with his teaching method and interactive so even though the classes are long, I rarely ever felt mentally saturated. The tips and tricks which he ingrained in us during the academy sessions were what helped me sail through the examination. However, if I were to point out any drawback, it would be the examination classes (2 of them) conducted by an ex-Plabber which I felt were not as great as the history taking classes conducted by Dr.Hamed himself. However, all in all, definitely something that worked wonders for me and the best part is his teaching did not just help me in clearing Plab 2, but I felt it made me a better clinician. Will definitely recommend this to anyone looking for PLAB 2 coaching👍

In my opinion this is the best and only academy worth attending to clear the PLAB exam in the first attempt. Both Dr Hamid and his team are extremely hard working and supportive at every step of this journey. I did not have much time between my course and the exam so I was very stresses that f I would not be able to clear the exam. However Dr Hamid’s constant motivation and excellent interactive method of teaching came to my rescue. Even some of the stations I didn’t get time to self read I was able to manage in the exam only due to his unique style of teaching. After long hours of teaching Dr Hamid was always available to each of the students to clarify their doubts and difficulties. But, you can think about him good or bad, but this way of teaching doesn't let you lose your attention or fall asleep. Yes, you have to stay in academy for 12 hours, and you have to work hard. I took Dr hamed course from 15th April 2019 - 30april 2019...and I have to say Dr hamed is the most professional, deligent and caring teachers I've ever come across, his coaching classes were recommended to me by a friend, who had taken the same and believe me it's the best choice I made! ... Dr hamed teaching pattern can not only be used in the prep for plab part 2 but can also be used in your day to day life while you interact with patients, his notes are so comprehensive that you pretty much prepared for anything before your exam. More importantly I feel on the day of my plab exam I was better prepared than anyone else from any of the other academies as well and Dr hameds teaching approach helped me score almost 3-4 in the interpersonal and history taking subdivions in almost every station which helped me clear the exam comfortably! .... I can't believe it's been almost a year since I was choosing an academy for plab 2, and having chosen common stations was one of the best decisions I have ever made. I still boast about the academy and the entire team to friends about to take plab 2, because I was in a place where I needed guidance around this time last year and I know how it feels to be lost and want the best place to be prepared to tackle this tricky but doable exam (of course with hard work and wise preparation). Even though in the end it's your own hard work and extensive amount of practice that will get you through this difficult exam, I can't stress enough on how much Dr. Hamed's efforts and dedication helped to make this exam less intimidating. I absolutely had an unforgettable experience at common stations,. Besides Dr. Hamed and Dr. Elmira, I've met some amazing people and I have beautiful memories from that period. I definitely miss those fun and enjoyable, but very informative and helpful classes. Dr. Elmira, besides being a great teacher for combined examinations, really helped encourage me during times where I doubted myself and my ability to pass. Even though the classes were very long, I didn't even feel the time because you can't even get bored or drift off since the classes are so interactive. I'm not exaggerating when I say this, but I feel like I learned more from Dr. Hamed than I did from any teacher I've had in medical school. What I learned from Dr. Hamed has definitely benefited me in more ways than just passing plab 2, and I still look back at the notes for guidance. Dr. Hamed is so passionate about teaching, that to him this is more than just a job. He thrives on the success of his students, and he will do everything possible to make this exam as easy as possible, of course keep in mind that he will give you the base but you have to do the rest of the work. Remember to study and practice a lot (most importantly) and focus on what they're looking for in each station. Most important things are interpersonal skills and confidence, which all improve with practice, and you have to know the core of each station (have a map in your mind). Besides helping me in passing plab 2, Dr. Hamed and Dr. Elmira helped me even after that with other matters and they have always been supportive from the moment I decided to join the academy.

The late classes, tremendous pressure transferred unto us during those early months when the format changed.....it was craaaaazy!!! Each of us got a call from Common Stations after our respective exam dates asking about the changes in the scenarios and discussing about the new stations. This is one amazing acadmey to prepare you not only for Plab but groom you as a doctor - as a doctor to work in the UK which I’m sure no other academy can do. I know many people would have their own opinions and while I respect their opinions, it’s my request to please refrain yourself keeping solid negative thoughts about Dr Hamed and his team based on other people reviews, there’s an agenda behind that. I know people who passed their Plab 1 with me are now teaching in Aspire academy. At the end it’s ‘Your career, Your decision’. My advice is to be tactful, there are many individuals as well offering plab 2 course for cheap on whatsapp groups/Facebook no doubt many people are merely after your money, in the end it’s the effort you have to put in and they would leave you nowhere after grabbing your money, but Dr. Hamed never does that, he’s a man of caliber! Also, I can’t stop myself telling people the truth that people have actually stole Dr. Hamed’s material and made their notes and opened up an academy. Please be careful. Dr. Hamed is a legend, May he live long (Amin), Dr. Elmira is one brilliant lady, May she live long (Amin). These guys have gone out of their ways to made me pass this exam. I have personal experience of swamy, where they charged me for mocks (extra mocks) but Dr. Hamed never charged me. This amazing man is not after money for sure. He is a teacher worthy of utmost respect. I truly love him as a teacher who you keep searching for long & you merely get! I went to the academy in december 2018. Dr. Hamed and Dr. Elmira are 2 of the best teachers I've ever had. Dr. Hamed is dedicated energetic passionate and has a unique style of teaching which I've rarely come across before but is brilliant cuz everything he says sticks in ur head. Alright everyone has their own free will, I would recommend everyone to go to common stations. It gives u what u need and that is brilliant guidance about Plab2, a place to practice and also have 2 mock exams. Everything is in place for u to excel. Dr. Hamed does his best and the rest as he says in his class is upto u.. work as hard as he says u should and u will clear the exam for sure. Dr. Hamed's common stations happens to be a close to ideal academy. Like all academies it has its pros and cons however, the pros outweigh the cons. Dr. Hamed happens to be an amazing teacher, with astute clinical acumen. His lecture notes are worth reading over and over and his clinical clerkship is the best i've had in my 14 year medical career. On the downside, there isn't much consideration for students with limited time from academy to exams, thus extra pressure. By and large, I'd recommend common stations over again.

If you are not a residence of UK or USA, the classroom condition will not be a big problem specially when you will have 24 hour access to other rooms where you can study and practice mannikins even when the course finishes untill the exam. The entire team is very dedicated and undoubtedly Dr.Hamed and Dr. Elmira are the most dedicated and knowledgeable teachers I have ever seen. I can't recollect a single incidence when Dr.Hamed or any other staff member behaved rudely. In fact, I have learned how important is interpersonal skills for passing PLAB2 from Common Station only. I passed PLAB2 when it's really a tough time as new stations are coming up everyday but Dr. Hamed keeps updating the notes so you won't go for xam without knowing about it. Firstly, just the fact that he gets to know all of our 80+ names within a couple of days shows u his dedication to this academy. Dr Hamed will cover everything that's needed for this exam. You will learn from A to Z. For many of us, especially those with long career gaps, this is a blessing! The most important thing about this exam is to practice, and Dr Hamed will stress on it a lot. Dr Elmira teaches the Examinations, and her classes are brilliant, she is clear and informative, and she has a womderful way of organizing the steps and teaching them. After finishing this course, I felt much much more confident in my own skills and approach to patients. Dr Hamed will teach you not only for this exam, but for all your future clinical experiences. I highly recommend this academy. Make sure that you give yourself at least 3-4 weeks after the end of the academy until you give your exam. As Dr Hamed says, practice practice practice. And that is very true, so give urself the time to practice everything u learn at the academy for those weeks until your exam. Many (although not all) students who fail is because they booked their exam just three of four days after the end of the academy course. Do not make that mistake and follow Dr Hameds guidance and instructions. After that, it is all upon you to practice and prepare well for the exam. Dr Hamed provides u the tools and the platform to excel, after that, it is down to you to make most of it and pass this exam. Finally, regardless of whichever academy you attend, if you don't practice, you will not pass. You will find ppl who have lots of experience or just finished internship and so they don't need that much time to practice, while others have long gaps or are consultants in subspecialties and thus need more practice. I've seen and met all such examples of people who have passed. So, attend the academy, focus, practice, and pass. Finally, you will make friends for life at the academy. And there's always so many people you could practice with as the class size is large. Make most use of it, the more different kinds of people you practice with, the more you will leave your comfort zone, and the better you will get. Best wishes!

Common Stations is an academy that offers PLAB 2 courses in London. I heard about it from people that I know and others that I didn't. What went well was the teaching provided by Dr Hamed and Dr Elmira. They are dedicated teachers and would move mountains to help students in their studying and exams. Personally, I felt like being in one to one course, even though we were more than 85 students. Moreover, they have a team of doctors who help students in their mock exams. Finally, there are administrative assistants who offer logistic support for teachers and students around the clock. What went no so well was the classroom which was tiny compared to the number of attendees. I succeeded in the exam although I only had 13 days after the 15-days course. My advice for the attendants is to read the material that Common Stations send before the course and to participate in the course during the classes and to have 4 weeks to study and practice after the course. I recommend this academy for doctors who are planning to sit PLAB 2 exam.

I heard about Common Stations from a trainee of my husband who is a consultant physician in acute medicine. He spoke very highly of the course and kept on emphasising on one fact, that unlike other courses, it is delivered fully by Dr. Hamed himself. Dr. Hamed has no pretensions. He was very upfront about how gruelling the 14 days will be and he has a very strict sets of rules. It may feel pretty strong but by day two I fully realised how important those things were. 14 days to cram in so much of information is no time at all and he managed to do that very successfully only because that he follows a time tested strict regimen. He is very knowledgeable and delivers his talk with a passion and enthusiasm that is quite uncommon. He covers all the essential areas of the PLAB exam and virtually transforms your whole approach to practice that is suitable for NHS. He is constantly updating his materials to suite the exam. He has a dedicated team of staff who works tirelessly and very professionally. The SimMan and the Mock exams are excellent for the preparation. Only thing that I would criticise is that the lecture room is quite small for such a big group and can become quite uncomfortable for such long days. This is definitely an area for improvement which can make the whole experience 100% I will have no hesitation in recommending the course.

Common Stations has a lot of positives going on in its favor. Dr. Hamed himself teaches all the stations, except the examinations and procedures, and he's a strict but wonderful teacher. Also the notes are quite exhaustive. Some points I'll mention here so you know what to expect: 1. You'll have to attend all the classss and mocks. So be prepared to take 10-12 hour long classes for 2 weeks at a stretch. Don't expect that any excuses for being absent will be entertained easily, as they should not be. 2. It is difficult to concentrate for such a long time, but it'll help if you learn to do so as the exam will require similar mental stamina, only with added pressure. 3. They have only one one-hour simman class for 2 ppl. These days simmans are not coming up in exams that often. Still you'll have to resort to watching youtube videos mostly for these stations 4. Not all mannequins and instruments are in top notch condition, but they'll do. More important is that you've enough practise with them. 5. Since the notes are very elaborate, one should prepare their own summarized and curtailed versions from them. That way you can also avoid sounding scripted. 6. Better not to take the accomodation suggested by Common Stations. You can find better places in Barking in similar price range. Lastly, I want to say many many thanks to Dr Hamed and his team for guiding me through this tricky exam. I am sure that anyone taking PLAB 2 will find them just as helpful, as long as they themselves keep working hard, follow Dr. Hamed's advice and try and make use of the materials they way it suits them

If you are welling to put enough effort and want to pass PLAB 2, Common stations is the place to go, i joined dr hamed's academy and i had no idea what the exam is like and first 2 days I was very confused, but by the end of the 14 days course, I knew what to expect and how to prepare thanks to Dr hamed and his great staff, PLAB 2 became more difficult and new things are added to it more and more but dr hamed doesn't save any effort in updating his course and material to match the change that happens, even he got a little ill during our course but that didn't stop him from giving 100% to us and I really appreciate that forever. i had a little less than 4 weeks to prepare for the exam after the course and it was a grind of all day work and study, so if you want to pass plab you need to put effort and join dr hamed's academy, he will help you to leave little to luck, also be sure to have atleast 4-5 weeks of preparation because the material became more than it was before, but be sure that Dr hamed will make sure that you have everything you need to pass. Best of luck and seriously thankful for dr hamed's work, I definitely recommend his course to everyone.

I attended commons stations after I failed my first PLAB 2 exam, I initially attended another academy earlier( I’d rather not disclose the name). In my first attempt, I’d also rather not blame the initial academy for my failure because I’m not one to blame other people for things that happen to me. I’d say I was unlucky as I failed by just 0.07 marks. I decided I’d rather go to commons stations for my second attempt after a friend recommended it. This decision happened to be the best decision I made in my PLAB journey. On the first day of class, Dr Hamid said he’d teach us in a way that LUCK will not be the reason why we fail, and this is very important. His methods are very structured and direct, so even if you got a new exam station, you’ll be able to pass it. Also if you want an academy that will give you one on one monitoring, this is the place to be. Dr Hamed knows all the students on a first name basis and this is very good because I remember several times when I’d feel sleepy or doze off in class and I’d hear him say “Tosin!!! What are three differentials of chest pain” This helped me to want to pay more attention and listen. Commons stations method of history taking is so structured, it’ll be hard to miss any important thing in data gathering. He also teaches us a lot about Interpersonal skills which of course is very important . The classes are fun and very interactive Dr Hamed is also very passionate about what he does, he genuinely wants everyone to pass, he calls or texts a day before your exam to give you more confidence and reassurance, and even after PLAB 2, he’s willing to assist with the registration process I’d definitely be recommending this to my other colleagues back home

My review is based on my experience only. First off Dr Hamed himself is a very dedicated teacher. For someone to memorize each and every persons name in a batch of 70+ within 3-4 days in itself shows how dedicated he is. Dr Hamed provides you with material that improves your knowledge and guides you towards improving your clinical skills particularly history and management. One thing I can guarantee is that after the 15 days course you will learn things that will definitely help you in becoming a better doctor irrespective of whether you pursue your career in Uk or your home country. As far as preparing for Plab 2 is concerned you will get the required guidance from the academy but at the end of the day it's totally upto you. No matter which academy you join one thing is for sure that you should not follow them blindly. All of you have done your graduation in medicine and many have clinical experience as well. You have to use all of those knowledge and skills and combine them with the guidance you receive in the academy. I want to stress that you won't be spoon fed. For those who find it hard to learn in a class with 70 odd people then maybe common stations isn't the right choice for you but also remember that PLAB 2 is all about getting out of your comfort zone and performing well under pressure. If you can't handle the pressure of learning in a class with so many people then you need to understand that the journey after plab isn't easy either. You have to perform well under extreme pressure during your exam and also during your practice where you are constantly being monitored and a minor mistake could have grave consequences. In the end whether you do take common stations or not is upto you and the right people to guide you would be your seniors who attended a certain academy. Dozens of people have passed with each academy but at the end of the day it comes down to how well you prepare using the guidelines given to you, but I can safely say that common stations does provide you with an amazinf mentor in Dr Hamed who will spend every minute of your day to make sure you stay up to date with everything required to pass the exam.

I had my fair share of failures in life. Took me twice to clear PLAB1. So clearing PLAB2 in the first attempt was a desire, challenge and for various reasons, a must do situation. The first day at Dr. Hamed's academy made me a bit depressed to be honest. So much to read, so much to learn; "why did I even come here, I'm not going to pass anyway"- was the thought that consumed me whole. But as the days went, I realized what Hamed was upto! He literally hammered the skeleton of the scripts into our brains and within a week we could ask the history questions in a flow without thinking. The only thing left was to cover the skeleton with flesh, which is essentially dependent on ourselves: how we talk, how we approach. Everyone has there own way of expression, the scripts from the academy gave us a guideline so we could construct our own dialogue in our own unique way. If anyone thinks we have to follow these scripts word by word, that's where you're mistaken. The practice sessions should be started as soon as the classes end. Thankfully I had a wonderful study group with people all over the globe: Abdullah from Pakistan, Madhu and Princley from Sri Lanka, Robert from Ghana, Abrar, Abonti,Tahmid my homies from Bangladesh. And also my housemate Rufina Binoy from India who guided and helped me practice at home. The mocks were very helpful in regards to getting used to the pressure of the exam. And a quick practice session by Dr. Elmira which our group was lucky enough to grab was the best thing that could happen to us. Dr. Hamed is an amazing mentor, not only does he guide us about the study material, but you can also get inspired by the unbelievable strength and enthusiasm he possesses and feel inspired to implement these qualities in your own life too. Thank you Dr.Hamed, Dr. Elmira, the whole Common Stations team, my fellow fighters from LLL batch and my wonderful wonderful study-mates. Plab 2 is not just testing your knowledge but your skills and ability to handle patients as you would in real life in the NHS. It encompasses medicine surgery gynae obs paeds etc . Dr. Hamed's course is essentially guidance for what to expect and how to handle the situations you come across, asking the right questions with the right gestures and applying your knowledge in a way that your patient leaves satisfied and well informed. This is what NHS expects of you and that is the crux of PLAB 2 and that is exactly what Dr. Hamed and his team teach through out the course. He has a well supported system in place and considering that dr. Hamed and dr. Elmira are both NHS doctors, they actually practice what they preach and preach only what is right and are congruent with the current practice guidelines. Your job is to be a vigilant student because the exam may get harder, but the tools necessary to ace the exam is what Common stations will equip you with. I have been a student to Dr. Hamed and dr. Dr Hamed's Commonstations is the one-stop destination for doctors preparing for PLAB2. After the rigorous 15day course you are equipped with knowledge and confidence to go on and pass the exam. Having attended one other academy previously and with the vantage of hindsight, I can say that Commonstations is arguably the best academy out there. I was thought the basic principles of history taking like I was in kindergarten, a process which, with consistent practice became as simple as ABC. His approach is very comprehensive and ensures you don't miss any important detail especially in data gathering. He always insisted on us imbibing the structure necessary to tackle the common case scenarios such that with time, practice and dedication to detail, you don't really need to cram the scripts. Just picture the structure as a scaffold and then add the flesh to it. Dr Hamed is a genius, an erudite teacher and very lively with a great sense of humour, purpose and commitment. To everyone who sat Dr Hamed's classes, I don't have to tell you more about it because we have all been there and done that. To those coming in for the first time, well , it's not going to be easy because Dr Hamed and Dr Elmira are extremely dedicated in what they do, so we've got to keep up. It's a 20 day course with mocks that you can take which is very useful. Every word that Dr Hamed screams aloud in class will come clear when you are in the GMC exam centre. He is a perfect example of what I would call "a firm but gentle hand". Dr Elmira conducts the mannequin workshops which are super fun and informative, she keeps the class going with her smile(trust me!!). Both of them are very encouraging, always seeing the bright side of everything even during the darkest times. I would be missing out a lot if I didn't mention Junior Hamed and Ahsan in the Admin who always kept me posted and got us mannequins and notes we needed on time. The whole team at CommonStations were so helpful in whatever we needed. Then of course, we need to work hard ourselves and keep up during these 20 days because the NHS is different from the other healthcare systems I have seen, but the long hours in class is totally worth it when you see the "PASS" against your name, the feeling is a "million dollar worth" moment. I will share my experience about this academy First I'm pushing 35 years old so I'm not a very junior doctor as you can see, I have attended common stations in July took the exam in August studied for only 12 days in total and passed my first attempt. First positive things Dr Hamed is a good dedicated teacher with Dr Elmira always there to help, you will always find somone to answer your questions and queries whatever they are which I see as a very good point. The frame work of the history and station structure and dealing with certain situations in the exam and in clinical life afterwards is EXTREMELY IMPORTANT AND AMAZING. Dr hamed really makes an excellent job in this point. I have some reservations though on the way of teaching which is station based instead of being topic based which in my opinion would save an enormous amount of effort. One point that made me really struggle as I'm responsible for a family is the punctuality it is not a 15 days course at all! Also I took the course in summer which was boiling hot in London this summer and the classroom was extremely crowded which made me really suffer extremely and actually the place was not prepared for the number nor the weather. People has mentioned the notes in the reviews that is why I used topic based approach during my studies which had helped enormously. Finally give yourself enough time read the guidelines to be prepared for any scenario or twisted questions (these guidelines are provided in Dr Hamed notes crudely though, would have helped much if were summerized into points),your presentation is quite important and the way you approach the patient as a confident safe doctor counts the most. Most people who fail were either not prepared enough or too stressed. Definitely recommend if you are healthy enough and not in summer!

From where should i start..when i fist joined i was intimidated by Dr.Hameed Sir's speech and rules but later even within the second day, the entire atmosphere of the classroom was changed. He is a very dedicated teacher who can keep 100 students awake and actually learn from his lecture for 9-10 hours while maintaining the atmosphere friendly. It was later that I understood his rules..1) ask our doubts later as if we ask between tge classes then no way he will be able the class within 8/9 hours, moreover after every class ends he sits down and clears every student's doubts..the rest of the students who have no doubts can leave and go home and study. 2) inform him if we are going to miss or be late..he deeply cares for every student and its his duty as a teacher to know about our absences so tgat he can help us out. 3) raise hands whn we answer..obviously if everyone mumbles together..its no use... I truly feel bad when i see post that talks about his rules but everything that he does has a reason behind it. He knows every student by name and even knows which students sleeps in his class and that's whn he starts with his jokes..he used to call me Begum jaan and laugh at the mistakes that i make while answering his questions but I am sure he used to ask me questions when he knew i wl make mistakes so that he can laugh it out and keep the class alert..it helped me to be alert and also i never made the mistakes which corrected me.. Possibly the best academy for PLAB 2 training in the UK. I say possibly but mean definitely. Dr. Hamed is by far the best teacher I have ever come across and the man's sheer dedication and energy is almost supernatural. I have been putting off writing a review because everything I want to say has been said by so many before me and they've said it better and in a lot more words. To those who are trying to decide between the many academies offering the course, I can't speak for the others but CommonStations is pure in it's intent and the entire duration of the course and the following weeks of preparation is an experience that will leave you wanting to go back to being a student. Location - The Academy is in Barking, London. Barking is just the right amount of shady and honestly, no worse than most cities in London when it comes to safety. The benefit of having the academy in Barking are wuite a few 1. Easy access with the Underground/metro whatever you want to call it. 2. The rent is a lot cheaper than most places so you don't risk blowing too much of your savings. 3. This is probably the most important; It's peaceful. It's quiet. And the academy is across the road from a supermarket and a library and is right next door to a coffee shop and 20 feet away is a tiny shopping complex with a post office if you need one. There are rows of ATMs just around the corner. Basically, EVERYTHING you need is in a 100 meter radius. 2. Accommodation - My sincere advice is to stay in the accommodation provided by the academy. I'll be honest, it's not the best and it definitely won't work for families but as a student, it's more than enough to meet your needs. A big part of the whole PLAB 2 journey is meeting people and getting in as much practice as possible and staying in the academy gives you a major boost in that regard. It has a kitchen and two bathrooms and I never faced issues with either (messy housemates can't be avoided but a saint of a maid comes by every couple days and does damage control). The other reason I would urge you to opt for the accommodation is the sheer convenience. It's a 5 minute walk, 3 if you hurry. Time is key for most aspirants who have a little over 4 to 5 weeks to crack the exam, and trust me, the last thing you want in your schedule is a commute to the academy. If you absolutely must, try to stay within walking distance. 3. The course itself - I'm going to keep this short and very matter-of-factly. The course runs over the course of 15 days followed by 3 days of review classes and 3 days with FULL LENGTH MOCKS. Dr. Hamed teaches the class every day. No old students, no assistants, just him. If you've heard someone whine about long hours then they need to be reminded that this is a training centre that aims to deliver the best training of it's sort to ALL students. Sure some might feel like the classes could be shorter but there are some who need even more time! Be mature about it and a little less selfish. That said, the classes are 8 to 10 hours long but they are captivating, entertaining and so much fun, you barely feel the time go by. Dr. Elmira is a real sweetheart and the best at what she does which is teach the procedures and also some ethics stations. She also conducts the review classes and gives a ton of invaluable feedback when it comes to interpersonal skills and if you can stare her down in a practice session, you've already passed every angry-patient station in the PLAB 2. Final verdict - The best of it's kind. TL;DR - The course is everything it promises to be and more. 10/10 would take it again. But when CommonStations, chances are you will almost certainly pasa in the first attempt.

Going through the reviews I have found some negative ones regarding Dr. Hamed being loud and giving lengthy lectures, but you will realize that he does what is necessary, as he teaches what most of the people find boring i.e. history taking skills. It’s a general trend to ask reviews...I guess we judge as per words of people who aren’t part of journey of those who they comment about...let me start with myself...I didn’t seek any opinion ..I used my mind...being a postgraduate since long , I haven’t Been in touch with any fresh pass outs and graduates..few parameters that I considered were..one person taking class...NHS serving Doctor..experience...up to date/ not...( location of academy- this was minor criteria) Well journey was mine..hard work ..no substitution...but most importantly guide!!!.. That’s who tells you the way... Dr.Hamed has been a fantastic...devoted teacher and experienced guide... His USP is his way of teaching..if you are attentive..u won’t forget it.. If you are devoted you would certainly nail it... No academies have 100% pass percentages... Let me write a bitter fact..see everyone shall charge you for service or guidance provided..there is no free lunch..but now it’s up to you to follow the herd or lead the herd... There is a thin line between providing guidance vs doing business predominantly... I decided to pay for guidance and service provided by joining common stations rather than part of someone’s business success story who run coaching as business rather than source of income coupled with more passion..I found latter at common stations under Dr. Hamed.... Dr hamed is faced with the humungous task of training a large number of doctors every session he takes..and he goes out of his way to ensure that each of us is equipped with the material and understand the tasks ahead of us..i personally had a very good time learning from him and was aptly prepared for the exam..unfortunately many ppl dnt understand that the rest of the work is ours..that is to practice and recognise our weaknesses and works towards that..they want complete spoon feeding and a guarantee to a pass..bt what they frget is that if one doesnt embrace the entire structure of the exam and stubbornly proceed to take it without altering ones ways thats a sure fail.. I highly recommend dr hameds classes but at the same time remind you that you will have to work hard and work smart..if u work hard but foolishly you will nt get thru and thats all on you for not understanding the core of the exam

I understand some people have concerns about common station Plab2 course. On the positive side, Dr Hamed and Dr Elmira are working beyond their limits. Dr Hamed has it's on way of teaching, majority of the doctors like it and some may not and that is fine as you can't please 100%. People from common station do fail in the Plab2 exam which is undeniable but there is enough support available to get you ready for the 2nd chance. Some people talk about the lack of communication strategies and a separate session about it which might bring a positive change. Looking at the current situation, I believe common station is the best place for Plab2
