I have completed two educational courses and two development courses and at the moment undertaking number 5. The reason why I have kept returning to Gateway Workshops, is I have a developing rapport between myself and the tutors. They are professional and I find that each of the different courses have been affordable in nature. The courses are on a platform which is easy enough to use regardless of experience. I find that its these things, which to me are important. The quality of courses and interaction between tutor and student is a vital part of this, and I can say this confidently because it was Gateway that taught me about Quality Assurance. Many of the courses on offer have a decent time limit ranging from a year to two years. This is ideal for anyone that like me, has caring duties, but also dyslexia or other learning differences, the platforms and methods of assessment are really good for this.

I want to thanks gateway workshop and my teacher Diane for helping me qualify my massage course from start to end. I started my course in September 2020 because of lockdown in November and January 2021 we were not able to go to class, but we were able to finish all of our theoretical homework at home. Diane has helped me through my work every time I needed help and she always reply in a day. Unluckily I needed to go back home to Norway for a while because of expired passport, but I kept in touch with Diane and was able to come back to London and finish my course. I could not recommend her more strongly to help other out with their course.

I did both Deep Tissue and Pregnancy massage with Diane Tan. She was so knowledgeable and warm. I instantly felt in safe hands, and she gave us lots of tips and really helped us hone our techniques, while also keeping the tone light and fun. You could really feel she was passionate about what she does, and she gave such care and detail to each student. I was also lucky enough to be her model for Deep Tissue Massage, since we were odd numbers, and it was divine! The best I have felt since lockdown started! I took Hot Stone and Bamboo courses with Monica and they were delightful. Monica was so knowledgeable and encouraging and has such a warm personality it made for a lovely day. Everyone I have been practicing with so far is absolutely in love with the combination of stones and bamboo, that she suggested. It feels such a gift to give people. I couldn't recommend her enough.

I have just completed a day course learning chair/seated on-site massage (accredited) with Gateway Workshops based in Eccles, Manchester. I thoroughly enjoyed the whole experience! The Tutor (Sue) was amazing. Sue explained everything perfectly and showed us the techniques really well. She has so much knowledge and experience of the industry it was fascinating. I came away very confident in what I had learnt and I was given detailed literature to take home with me and a link for the video of the routine as well. The pricing was competitive and well worth it as you get so much for 1 day. I would recommend to anyone and will definitely attend another course in the future.

I had Christina as my tutor for Manual Lymphatic Drainage. She was a very calm, patient teacher who explained things well in the one day course. We learned a routine that we can incorporate into a routine or use as a full treatment. I would like to build upon this learning to gain a really full understanding of different lymphatic drainage techniques. It is a good basis with which to do your own study. Professional and safe settings with nice course colleagues also.

I have recently completed the manual lymphatic drainage training with Gateway at Inner Light, Eccles. The whole process was really well organised: from booking on to the course to attending the training. The tutor was very experienced and knowledgeable and by the end of the training day I felt very confident to deliver the treatment. I also received some great resources to refer to later on such as a really clear manual and video of the routine which was clear and easy to follow. When I have done CPD courses with other providers: I have not always felt like I could start delivering the new techniques but this left me feeling very capable in offering this treatment to clients. I did different massage courses ( Pregnancy massage course, Lymphatic massage course, Warm Bamboo massage course and Chair massage course)with Diane. Diane is a wonderful teacher,she likes to help everyone, she is very kind. I had a lot of pain in my right arm Saturday afternoon last week, I could not move it because I carried my heavy bycle last week. I could not to turn on and off even the light but during our lunch time last Sunday,she wanted to help me and she used her fabulous massage techniques to relieve the pain and after her massage in my right arm, now I feel great. So... when looking to train further in Indian Head Massage and Thai Foot Massage I went straight to Gateway Workshops. So easy to book, and the tutor Sue Cross was great! She is so knowledgable and she made the course really enjoyable with a mixture of humour and professionalism. Great experience at Gateway Workshops w Diane Tan as my tutor for the ITEC Level 3 Swedish/Holistic Full Body Massage course. The course adapted extremely well to the COVID situation and Diane was so efficient and helpful w her replies outside of class. Only thing I'd bring attention to is the additional costs involved aren't listed on the course page. You'll need to factor in buying a massage table, towels, etc. Would recommend the course to anyone interested in learning massage. I feel ready to move into my own freelance business and am working on that now.

I took Diane Tan's Warm Bamboo Massage class in London on October 19th. It was Fantastic!! I've been a massage therapist since 2001 and have done extensive continuing education over the years and Diane's class blew me away!! She is a born teacher and loves her work and it shows. This was my first time taking a Gateway class and I will definitely take another class from Diane. The course material was very organized and the class location was very professional. Having access to the refresher video online is another bonus! I should note, I am from Seattle WA USA, and would definitely cross the "Pond" again to take another class from Diane!! If you haven't taken Diane's class before I'd highly recommend you get onto her class schedule ASAP! She's Awesome!

I attended the Traditional Thai Foot Massage course today with Diane Tan. The venue was ideally located and really easy to get to. The class size was nice and small and made for a much nicer learning environment. Diane was great. Her class was relaxed but highly informative and she really took the time to help the students learn the techniques. The pace of the day was just right and I did not feel like it was rushed or too slow. The class had a real range of massage experience in it but Diane kept the flow just right so that we all benefitted from it. As a complete massage novice, I really felt comfortable in the class and Diane answered all my questions professionally but comprehensively. The best part of the day was not only getting the opportunity to practice but also having a wonderful foot massage which made the day even more relaxed. Highly recommended and I would definitely seek courses where Diane is the tutor.

Just completed a Thai Foot Massage course with Diane Tan and it was a great experience. I am very satisfied with this course for different reasons: first of all, Diane was a great teacher and I was very happy with the quality of the teaching. Also, 90% (or more) of this course was based on practicals (which I personally believe it's what you really need to do in the hours you spend at the course). Lastly, the video received at the end of the course is just perfect and completes definitively your learning. It's something that I really appreciated, not many other schools would do that and it's nice to see they care about your future. Fantastic value for money & excellent training! I have attended a few courses with Gateway over the past year (Pregnancy Massage, Hot & Cold Stone Massage, Myofascial Release and Seated Acupressure). The tutors (Diane Tan & Di Wilson) are both knowledgeable and personable. Class sizes are small, which means you get great feedback, training and practice. Would thoroughly recommend - currently planning my CPD for next year and Gateway will be on the list again.

I had a wonderful experience with Gateway after signing onto the lymphatic drainage massage course. The website is user friendly and I received prompt and professional email communication from the time of booking and up until the course date. The course was taught by the wonderful Di Wilson who is an expert in her field as well as a kind and giving teacher. The day was well organised and structured, receiving just the right amount of theory and practical. There was only 6 students in the class meaning that there was a lots of teacher-student contact and no rush for the teacher to get round to see everyone. There was a great, positive atmosphere in the room and every got on very well. The classroom was clean, bright and airy and centrally located and I left feeling confident in what I had learnt. The class were given access to an online tutorial - which I have made use of - and I feel safe knowing that I can always check back to ensure that I am carrying out techniques correctly and safely. There is a good support network after the course has ended. I feel that the company are fair, approachable and professional as well as being excellent value for money.
