I looked for a decent martial arts school for a while and have been lucky enough to have come across a great one instead. Very encouraging and friendly atmosphere, members of different levels working together and helping each other and, above all, sifu Jaemie Gallie, whose knowledge and friendliness make this school such an enjoyable place. Highly recommended for any level student!

I've been to two other schools and I can't emphasize enough how much better Jaemie's classes are. The system we learn goes much more in depth into the inner workings of Wingchun (offering a real understanding of each move) and its practical applications. The atmosphere is really great and we all look forward to the next class!

Before I started here, I spent a lot of time researching all the different Wing Chun schools in London. I was a bit nervous about starting a martial art and I wanted to make sure that I joined a school with a good teacher and a relatively safe environment. Now, having been training here for the past four months, I know I’ve picked the best school in London~! The atmosphere here is both comfortable and fun. Everyone is respectful and encouraging of each other, and it creates a wonderful environment where you can relax enough to shed your self-consciousness and really focus on what you’re learning. All of which I think is because of our teacher Jaemie Gallie! He’s an excellent teacher, he’s very patient and dedicated, and every lesson feels like a step forward in terms of honing your skill and precision, even for a noodle-shaped novice like myself! I think he also really values us a students because he also works hard to provide extra training for us, like trips, workshops with Wing Chun experts and extra long training sessions. I'm really enjoying my time here; so for anyone wanting to learn a martial art I’d most definitely recommend you join us here. It’s hard-work, but so worth it!!! :D

I feel really lucky to find this school. It’s a place for both beginners and people who have been training Wingchun or other matial art for years. I really love the atmosphere. Students are very friendly and those higher level ones always volunteer to help us “newbies”. I also really like Siri Jaemie’s teaching styles- instead of the fancy moves from the very beginning, he pays more attentions to showing us the basic core skills. Everyone could progress in our own pace and trust me, you definitely will feel progress with time goes on. Like one of the fellow beginners said, “ Ive tried another wingchun school and every day I’m aware of being attacked and how shall I react. But since I joined London IP man Wing Chun school, I feel positive every time when I go back home. That makes me happy.” If you are interested in martial art, or fighting smart, or simply being cool, or getting strong, this is the perfect place for you!

I have been Sifu Jaemie's student for over 3 years and am absolutely hooked! Having no previous martial arts experience, I didn't know what to expect but I am glad I took the leap and decided to give Wing Chun a go! Jaemie is a very patient teacher and explains things so they are easy to understand - even for the most novice of novices. He also highly personable and creates a fun and enjoyable atmosphere. Unlike other Wing Chun schools (I have been to a few seminars where other schools have attended) there are no egos and everyone is friendly and genuinely passionate. Highly, highly recommend!!
